The photos are deceiving : the pool is very small ,if there is a family of 4 there ,there is no room for anyone else. I payed much more than the quote assigned on the front desk which is a small palapa as well as the the dining room.

Un concepto de hotel boutique, pequeño pero lindo, me sorprendí de lo agrabable que resultó. La cama deliciosa, por las sábanas y almohadas. Si buscas un hotel solo para llegar a dormir o descansar es una excelente opción y a un súper precio. El desayuno es muy básico pero por el precio es justo

Loved the property and all the staff was amazing. Our only complaint was that it isn’t close to much of anything. We had to either take a bus or taxi into town for shopping, dining not at the hotel or the beach. But if your looking to just relax and lay back this is totally the place for you!

Terasu is a hidden gem! Just a five minute walk from Xcaret Xplor, we relaxed at this spa like resort emerged the wilderness. We enjoyed listening to the birds in the morning an even got to feed the local wild monkeys passing through the trees… One literally came right onto our desk and took a banana from our hands! Aside from the peaceful fairy tale environment, the staff was hands down wonderful for our entire stay. They helped us get our park tickets, arrange transportation and immediately helped us with our wifi connection when the signal dropped. If I ever find myself in this area of Mexico again, I would love to come back!

Staff and restaurant were superb. We were welcomed by monkeys on our arrival. Its small and quiet during the day but you can here people arrive as they come back from XPlor

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!!! Huge shout out to Fanny, Fernando, Jose, and Omar! They are truly such amazing people, they were so kind and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure we were well accommodated and happy. Now, the hotel is beautiful! We fed monkeys every morning! This place is such a great vibe! I will DEFINITELY be coming back!

Staff is beyond amazing. Very friendly and accommodating. Food here is also amazing. Hotel rooms are very cute, cozy and clean. Hotel is also a good distance from clubs and restaurants. The area feels very safe as well. 10/10, I’ll most definitely be coming back. Ps, make sure to have bug spray!!

We loved the friendly reception. The concierge carried our bags and showed the restaurant, pool and room. Wood fire fresh pizza was amazing.

Super cool jungle getaway about ten mins drive away from playa del carmen city center....Hotel very clean, Super friendly staff and the spider monkeys in the mornings makes this place so truly special!They are gentle when taking food and they dont steal sunglasses or cellphones like the ones in Asia LOL! Will definitely return in the near future! Special Thanks to Fanny, Jose , Omar and the nice older gent who always helped with the luggage!

Such a beautiful hotel with amazing staff and food. It’s surrounded by tree canopies where you can occasionally spot a spider monkey, and if your lucky, feed one too. My fiancé and I stayed there for 5 nights and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the peaceful surroundings. Close enough to drive to Playa del Carmen (15 minute drive) and literally walking distance from the Xenses theme park and Xplor. So glad we found this hidden gem. A special thank to Fanny and Jose who were gracious and made us feel welcomed!

The staff were absolutely phenomenal. They were the highlight of our stay. They were so friendly and accommodating. One employee even gave us a banana to feed some monkeys. This hotel is a bit far from anything so the location wasn’t the best for us since we didn’t have a vehicle.

great place to stay if you like nature thanks to Nemesio, Fanny and rest of crew make it more enjoyable to stay only deal if you don't bring a car transportation is available at the main hwy but place is nice.

Amazing property nested in nature, very kind, friendly and helpful staff, environment a little to noisy during the day due to highway and parks proximity, I fully recommend it if able to disregard surrounding disquietness.

Superbe petit hotel niché dans la verdure, possibilité de se relaxer avec le SPA (payant). Nous avons eu la chance de voir les singes araignées. Difficile de trouver hôtel depuis Xcaret.

직원들의 친절이 가식적이지 않고 진심이다. 주변이 모두 나무여서 정글 속에 있는 것 같다. 특히 조식부페 때 야생원숭이들이 바나나를 얻어 먹으러 와서 색다른 체험을 할 수 있다. Xplor까지 걸어갈 수 있는 거리이나, 걸어다니는 사람이 거의 없긴 하다.

We stayed at Terasu because of the close proximity to XCARET! without the high prices of the resorts nearby. A 15min walk or 7 min taxi ride. The room (king suite) was great. Plenty of room for myself and two kids (ages 11 and 8). The pool was nice to take a quick dip in the late afternoon heat (it was a little murky, but that doesn’t bother us) The service was great and so was the breakfast. They helped me get a taxi to and from the hotel and nearby towns. There were some loud noises the first night from the neighbors ducks/geese. Ear plugs were provided though! My only suggestion is that if you don’t have a car, there isn’t any nearby restaurants to eat dinner at unless you take a taxi. Loved the design of the hotel and how they incorporated the trees into the design. Thank you so much!

While the room is impeccable and the housekeeper does everything to please you, we had to deal with an experience like never before. Extreme sewer smell in our room for the 4 nights and no matter what product they put we woke up with migraines every single day and it was impossible to interact in this room.had to sleep with windows open and could barely access bathroom due to this awful smell. Shower was plugged at all time it was used. Running non stop water was the only relief we could have to take down the smell. AWFUL.

Unbelievable Hotel
Wow. Unbelievable property. Great location right in the middle of Xcaret park in Playa del Carmen away from the noise. The staff was so kind, we wanted to see the area and they helped us organize tours which picked us up at the hotel and returned us there. Free continental breakfast was great and the rooms are big, luxurious and comfortable. Really unique property, even monkeys would come by every day. Brand new hotel true boutique experience, truly unbelievable
