View from our room was amazing. Interestingly, we were on floor -1 and it seemed like an unwanted stepchild of floors. All the lights in our hallway turned on only when you entered it. The overhead lights, paint and carpet were all old school--real old school. It was a bit of a "Shining" moment each time I stepped into that dark corridor. This is a large, statuesque hotel. It could use some painting and additional care that a formidable building like this needs. But that can only be done in the summer months, so not casting any stones. All things considered, a nice experience and I'm happy to recommend. If your primary destination is St. Moritz, I might suggest staying there. I found the Bus drivers and train personnel to be a completely unhelpful awful lot, and bussing it down to the station and over to St. Moritz sation was a considerable hassle (in my opinion) every day. That aside, the hotel experience was great. I would stay here again if my primary destination wasn't St. Moritz.

My wife and I went there for a wellness weekend. Since it was my birthday, Hotel offered me a free spa treatment, which was a nice gesture. All in all a nice experience in a decent castle-like Hotel.

We had five wonderful days here and cannot comprehend the negative reviews, especially regarding the breakfast. Breakfast was full of delicious things and we really took our time in the morning to enjoy the meals. Staff has also been helpful and very friendly all the time. If you are thinking about coming here: Do it. You will not regret it!

Spa and its staff was amazing (very clean, very big, staff very nice) Breakfast buffet was very big and good In general the hotel looks very oldish, rooms were okay Reception staff not very motivated nor helpful

Value for money semi-lux
We stayed for 4 nights and it was such a hidden-gem as an alternative to staying in St Moritz. The buffet breakfast was very nice with a spectacular view and the spa is well-equipped. Make sure u get the discounted ski pass from the hotel.

Only stayed the one night but is very close to bus stops and the hotel is clean and lovely. The wellness centre was a great way to spend time in the evening after being out all day. Only issue we ran into was after missing a bus the hotel called a cab for us but after looking at the bus schedule we wanted to cancel the cab but she did not understand the request so we ended up having to take the cab which cost 40 chf (so almost $70 with exchange) for less than a 10 minute ride down the road. Lessons learned avoid taxis at all costs!!!!

Gutes Hotel in Pontresina
Gutes Hotel der oberen Mittelklasse mit schönen Zimmern. Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig ausgestattet und haben zum Teil einen schönen Ausblick auf die Berge. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig und das Personal im allgemeinen sehr freundlich. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis betrachte ich normalerweise als gut. Es gibt aber bei gewissen Nächten Ausschläge nach oben welche den eindeutig zu teuer sind.

Wir waren für ein Wochenende als Team im Hotel. Der Check in war in Ordnung, jedoch hätten wir uns über ein Begrüssungsgetränk gefreut, sowie über Hotelführung. Das Zimmer war gross und sehr sauber. Der Spa Bereich war ok. Für einen Wellness urlaub jedoch nicht zu empfehlen. Ausserdem wurde uns am ersten Tag mitgeteilt, dass wir den Spa auch nach dem Checkout nutzen können, jedoch erwähnten sie nicht, dass es ab 13:00 Uhr kostenpflichtig ist. Was wir noch in keinem Hotel erlebt haben. Das Frühstücksbuffet, lässt keine Wünsche offen, ebenfalls das Abends war sehr empfehlenswert.

Lovely large hotel, rooms are spacious, Spa is highlight of the stay. Breakfast has lots of choice including some gluten free options. Views are spectacular and a great easy to use shuttle to take you skiing.

Die aufmerksame Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personal an der Reception, im Restaurant und im Spa hat unseren Aufenhalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet und hatte eine wunderbare Aussicht auf die verschneiten Berge, den Fluss, Wald und Sternenhimmel. In der Nebensaison, wo wir im Spa fast immer ganz alleine waren und mit der Engadin Card jeden Tag kostenlos die Bergbahn zu unvergesslich aussichtsreichen Berggipfeln machen konnten, war das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis geradezu unglaublich.

Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt. Der Ausblick aus dem Fenster auf den Bach und die Berge war traumhaft schön. Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, war aber trotzdem sehr sauber. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr nett. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut, allerdings fehlten für meinen Geschmack Vollkornprodukte und eine größere Auswahl an Käse und frischem Gemüse.

Ordentliches Hotel
Das Hotel ist in Ordnung, hat aber wohl seine besten Tage gesehen. Das Personal freundlich, der Spa Bereich solide und das Frühstück sehr gut.
