We are always disappointed to see a guest may not have enjoyed their stay with us. Unfortunately, in this case, this guest did not express any discomfort or make us aware of any problems during their stay and thus did not allow us to find a solution. We ask our guests to please make us aware as soon as possible of any issues they may have during their stay so we can find a satisfactory solution during the stay itself. We are glad to see that the vast majority of our guests leave us excellent reviews throughout and express their satisfaction while they are visiting us.

Nos gusto mucho el hotel, súper cómodo y amplio el Desayuno bastante bueno . Muy amables las personas que trabajan en el hotel , nos encantó la piscina y la playa en general súper recomendado

Attention! If you are looking for a hotel with an ocean view beware: this hotel may not be your best option. I was assigned a rainforest room which was actually a 3 bedroom apartment, pretty comfortable, with a master bedroom with a WALL view. Yes, the only thing I could see from my bedroom was a wall. On top of that, the hotel was running some remodelations and the

Hello. Thank you for your review. We are sorry the suite did not meet your expectations in terms of view. We have very nice ocean view suites on higher categories but you chose to book our lowest floor entry level suite which does not advertise ocean view regardless that there is ocean view in the front balcony and also living room area. For guests looking for ocean view, we offer very nice Panoramic ocean view suites and Penthouses on higher categories. We are not currently remodeling, but we are doing some preventative work as we are getting ready for the upcoming high season. We are sorry if our maintenance staff painting some of the outside walls might have been disruptive to you on some level but when doing maintenance work we try not to affect our guest's experience. This kind of maintenance work is needed by every hotel at some point to keep things in good order.

Superó la expectativa
Las habitaciones están muy bien. Son muy grandes y permiten la convivencia familiar. El restaurante y el área de la alberca están muy bien y las vista increíbles. La playa es privada, pero no está muy cómoda.

We had a really bad experience at Los Altos. It was one inconvenient after the other: a) We arrived at 5pm and the room was not ready/clean for the check in (which should be available at 3pm), I had to complain a lot to get the room ready and cleaned at 7pm. b) At the check in the front desk people insisted that my stay was not previously paid, only after some arguments they recognized it was already paid. c) All beds in the room are noisy, really noisy, and not comfortable. d) Poor breakfast. e) Asked for towels at pool three times and finally I gave up. In summary, although it is a very beautiful place, the poor service and the noisy and uncomfortable beds made our weekend unpleasant. Won´t stay here again!

Los Altos is a wonderful small hotel with a wide variety of rooms, all of which are incredible. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Andres checked us in and showed us around the gorgeous grounds. He was extremely professional and helpful for our entire stay. The rooms were clean and had all of the amenities we could have possibly wanted for our stay. The food at the on-property restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. Overall, this hotel was a fantastic experience and a great value. 10/10 recommend!

We had a fantastic stay! Beautiful property with amazing views. Super friendly staff with a great restaurant. We saw a lot of birds and monkeys on the property which was pretty incredible. Nice hiking trails on site and many walkable restaurants near by. We will definitely come back!

Our four day stay at Los Altos was absolutely wonderful! - hotel room was clean and had a beautiful view - staff was incredibly kind, accommodating and prompt with any requests we had - coordination of airport shuttle and various tours was excellent- everything was prompt and comfortable - area around the hotel is absolutely beautiful -2 for 1 drinks at happy hour was a great deal- drinks were delicious - private beach was very enjoyable and relaxing - free breakfast was a huge plus - walking distance to nearby restaurants (would definitely recommend Emilio’s and Samui) and grocery Overall an amazing experience for our first time in Costa Rica. Would definitely recommend!

Los Altos is a wonderful hotel. The grounds are beautiful and like others have said, the wildlife is better than the National park tour! We loved our spacious suite. The food was great and the pool and beach areas were awesome. The only suggestion I would make is to have better communication regarding tours/transportation. The advance bookings were made through a series of emails and we never got a one sheet PDF with what we booked and payment information. We also needed a lot of cash since we asked to pay for these directly. Small tweaks would really make this smoother and aligned with other CR resort tour experiences. Overall, highly recommend!

Das Appartement war sehr geräumig und bot mehr als genug Platz für unsere 5-köpfige Familie. Pool und Restaurant waren ebenfalls sehr schön. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, jedoch können nicht alle Englisch sprechen. Meine moderate Bewertung kommt daher, dass es aus meiner Sicht kein 5-Sterne Standard ist. Ich würde dem Resort nur 4 Sterne geben. Daher ist auch das Preis-Leistung-Niveau ungenügend.

A beautiful and relatively private setting with excellent food and very friendly, accommodating staff. Loved the quiet beach and lovely pool at sunset. A bit frustrating to have washer/dryer in apartment but not be able to access it.

We went to Los Altos for my 45th birthday and it was absolutely amazing! We were in love with the resort from the moment we walked in. The condo is huge and beautifully decorated. The pool has the most gorgeous views and you can see animals while you are sitting there. We actually saw more animals there than we did at the National Park. We asked them about a nice restaurant in the area for my birthday and they surprised me with balloons and a delicious birthday cake. The staff definitely made me feel special. The restaurant had a wonderful breakfast with beautiful views. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Los Altos, we will definitely be back.

This resort is amazing!!! We saw more wildlife on the grounds than at Manuel Antonio. Sitting at the pool watching monkeys in the trees and Toucans flying overhead. People were so friendly, Rooms were huge, spotless and so beautiful. Food is amazing. 10/10 can’t wait to go back!

Nice, but Overpriced
The accommodations at Los Altos are definitely beautiful and spacious. We stayed in a 3 bedroom with a family of 5 and there was more than enough room. The grounds were well kept and the staff was polite and helpful. The breakfasts were great with various cook to order options. There was an abundance of wildlife roaming the property that made my children especially happy. The private beach is underwhelming and very rocky. We ended up taking a taxi to the public beach each day that was much nicer. We have stayed in the Manuel Antonio area many times, but this was our first stay at Los Altos. Overall, I feel like this property is quite overpriced comparing it to the other places we've stayed.

We had an excellent time at Los Altos. All the staff at the hotel were great. Kenneth at the front desk was so nice. All the araganements made through the hotel reservations department (Esteban, Efrain and Saidmon) were handled without issue. We saw more wildlife on the property then we did on our tour of Manuel Antonio National Park. The first day on our walk down to the beach we came across a bunch of white faced monkeys that crossed 5 feet in front of us. Later that day at the pool a group of squirrel monkeys came down from the trees and everyone grabbed their camera. The food and the service at the resturant and pool were super. The room was probably the best I have ever stayed in with a fantastic view.

Great place to relax
Great hotel near Manuel Antonio National Park. The service was great, the food was excellent. I will definitely come back in the future. They pay attention to detail, which is great.
