Poca señalizacion de como llegar. Nada visible
Decepcionante. Deberian actualizar el estado actual del hotel. Olor de habitacion feo. Y se ve el deterioro de las instalaciones. Muy antiguo y poca limpieza de la habitacion.

I love that I could be on the patio without seeing and hearing the neighbors. The staff was professional and friendly and the grounds were beautiful. Si h a gem. I will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing stay!!!
Absolutely amazing stay! Gorgeous view from the room to wake up to with a great patio. We ate at the restaurant and sat outdoors with another great view, heaters and the food was excellent along with the service! Had the pizza, burger and tacos and everything was delish! Would definitely stay here again!

Staff were friendly and helpful. The only complaints to mention were that the hotel room was a bit outdated, smelled musty and useless outlets.

Jacuzzi was broke down, no breakfast provided, noisy next room sound, lots of small spider in the bathroom. no rest at all.

I'm sorry you didn't take advantage of the pool and jacuzzi at our other area. We are resurfacing our main lodge pool. Our Oaks Grill offers breakfast daily except on Mondays. I hope you give us another chance so we can show you all that you missed.

Weekend trip
This was a nice, decent place to stay. Only complaint was that the pool and jacuzzi were closed for renovations. We were not given any prior notice of this. One of the reasons for choosing this place was for the pool and jacuzzi, so it would have been nice to have been informed. However, I have to say that the staff were very nice. One of the beds in our room was very squeaky, and really should be retired. Rest of the room was good.

Thank you for your comments. We apologize for the one pool/jacuzzi closure but we do have another pool that is open for our guests. We have all new mattresses in all of our rooms. Unfortunately, the box springs can squeak when new. We are pleased that you did enjoy your stay with us and hope to see you again soon!

There are better places to stay
Our room was ready about an hour early so that was good. The lady at check in was nice. The pool and jacuzzi on site are drained but have use of a pool a drive away. We weren’t told this until the next morning. There is an abundance of black mold in the bathroom all over the ceiling. Didn’t look good. The paint was chipping all over and there were a lot of cobwebs near the windows. The bedroom doesn’t have blinds on the upper windows so if you need darkness for sleep then you won’t get it. The room had a great view and had a lot of space. The bed is comfortable. Asked for a later check out but only was given an extra 15 minutes. Considering checkout is at 11am and check in is at 3pm, doesn’t allow full daily use of what you’re paying for. Breakfast in the restaurant was overpriced. The steak and eggs was overpriced for what it was. Some of the menu items looked good. The bar opens at 9am which is great for football Sunday.

Hi Michaela! I'm sorry your stay with us did not go as you expected. We are in the process of resurfacing the pool and jacuzzi. The other pool was open for your use. Our rooms are also in the process of being renovated. I see that you did take advantage of the hour later check out. The room was very spacious. It had a fridge. And coffee maker. They didn’t skimp on towels or coffee and tea or cups. We had our own private balcony and it was so nice to have coffee and breakfast out there. Would absolutely stay again. Not far at all from Barona Casino. Would recommend.

Just perfect.
Nice hotel, friendly staff. Good facilities no negatives about the resort. BBQ food truck was amazing. Loved watching the golf for our room. Swimming pool good with lifeguards on duty, bar was good excellent staff and cold beverages

Fabulous find in the California desert
We booked this hotel as we attended a wedding in Oceanside and the reception at the San Diego Wild Animal Park, which is just over 20 minutes from the golf resort. Not only did we love this hotel, we plan on coming back for a vacation -- it's a beautiful, quiet location, with lots of hiking and biking trails in addition to the golf course. Staff was extremely friendly and room was spacious, clean and beds/pillows were very comfortable. Parking was always available too. Although a bit far from the ocean, we will plan to stay here because it is not congested and is a beautiful drive from the water. It's about an hour from the ocean -- which is no time when you are driving in California!

A solid 3 star experience
This is an older property, but rooms are to a degree updated and good sized. Would be nice if they also had microwaves. This is the second time staying here in ~ 3 mos, unfortunately both times the restaurant has been closed for renovation. Walls are thin so I could hear the guests upstairs chatting. Also the housekeeper at ~730am had a long conversation via speakerphone at my front door which was a bit annoying. But I would stay there again, given the price.

Love the improvements that were made to the golf course. Taking great care of. The restaurant was closed for remodeling but we knew that in advance. Not a big deal. The room was nicer since it’s been updated. Like the new flooring vinyl much better that the carpet. It’s clean. The only thing that could have made our stay a little better was the deck of the balcony could have been cleaner/mopped. Looked like something was spilled. Just needed some cleaning. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful golf resort
