“Loved it”

“This is a beautiful property inside and out. It would be a great place for a group or family as it has communal kitchen and lounge areas as well as a gorgeous big courtyard. The bed was super comfortable and I got a rare good night of sleep. The shower in our particular room (3) was tiny, so if you like a bit of wiggle room, you might inquire about other rooms. The location is very convenient to Causeway adventures, but quiet. Lovely. ”

“This is a lovely place to stay. We were well looked after, my gluten free dietary needs were catered for and the staff were very accommodating. The house is old so we expected that the rooms might be ‘quirky’ but we had a dangerous fault with our shower that could have resulted in serious scalding incident. We have informed the managers so they can deal with it. Dinner was 5* as you’d expect in a place with a chef of this calibre - wine and port also excellent. Pricey, but not excessive....

“Un lugar de ensueño a orillas del lago Ness, el apartamento con una decoración muy bonita y con todo tipo de comodidades y accesorios. Por poner un pero, diría que se agradecería que colocasen cortinas opacas porque en cuanto amanecía al carecer de persianas se iluminaba toda la habitación. (Al viajar en verano esto sucedía a las 6 a.m.) Aún así una estancia de 10!! Los niños disfrutaron mucho de la sala de juegos, la mesa de Ping Pong y las zonas verdes.”

“For the price, you are paying for the amazing loch views, and quiet serenity. Staff was very nice and helpful, food was great. However the owners need to update the rooms at this price point. I don’t mind experiencing the old charm of Scotland but not if it’s 1985 charm. Bathroom needs updating, even a curved shower curtain would go a long way. Wooden Floors are extremely creaky. Very hard to be quiet. Especially if you come in past midnight when all the doors are locked shut. Overall a great...

“We travelled with our adult son to hike in the nearby Eryri National Park. The owner greeted us upon arrival and very thoughtfully upgraded our rooms! Lola, the dog, was so friendly and extremely well behaved. The place is beautifully and freshly decorated. The two bedrooms we saw were unique, comfortable and well equipped. “La habitación que nos dieron para dos personas y una cuna era muy pequeña y con una ventana con vistas a un espacio cerrado. Era muy difícil moverse en el espacio de la habitación con la cuna. Estaba muy bien la terraza del hotel ( el tiempo fue muy bueno ) y las instalaciones comunes.”
