The room I was initially given smelled like a smoking room. They did upgrade me to one that was marginally better. It still smelled of smoking covered up by chemical air fresheners. I was able to air it out by leaving the door open, with the bathroom fan on, until dark. The refrigerator was not functioning adequately. The public areas were filthy and there was not parking within easy access to my room. However my room looked on a pleasant wooded area. The attendant tried his best to please me, but the facilities were just too poor. Considering the price of the stay, it was not acceptable.

Price is great for a one night stay! We (husband and I) were on ground level (all doors enter from outside) and it was easy to get to your room and unload your car. The room was clean but it is an older building so don’t expect perfect walls and baseboards. Our room had only a wood chair and desk…we brought in our lawn chair that was more comfortable to watch TV and read. I am so used to a coffee pot in the room and this hotel did not have any. They did have a coffee pot in the lobby but when I checked in they did not have any made. I did not check in the morning if they had coffee. Our room had a very small bathroom with tub/shower and toilet but it was clean and usable. Sink outside the bathroom with good size counter top. Had frig and micro. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were decent. There are restaurants and gas stations near by. You’ll have your basics to get you on your way without breaking the bank. I would stay here again as we travel through.

At 1;23 am they started up a leaf blower and used it around the building for about 30 minutes. the internet never worked at all, and the upper strap lock on the door the screws were sticking out and striped so it was useless

I liked the staff. They were very accommodating. As soon as they had a room on the first floor open they gave it to me and my mom. They carried all of our stuff to the new room. The property was very safe for single women to be there by themselves. I will definitely be willing to stay there again.

Nice, but a bit noisy
There was only one problem and it was that the upstairs neighbors were very noisy and seem to be dropping things on the floor.

There was limited parking and our room was on the second floor. I have MS and do not walk very well. I had to climb 2 steps to get to the front desk. There was no hand rail, but I made it. Another guest helped me down the stairs to get to my husband, who helped me the rest of the way.

ALL THIS AND HOTEL REFUSED REFUND (NOT ENTIRE STOR
Smelled like urine in bathroom around toilet and had not been cleaned around toilet. Surfaces and floor were sticky. TV made weird noises and flashed static the entire time it was on. They DO NOT provide shampoo ect. They SELL shampoo Ect for cash only and it CAN NOT be purchased after 10pm. Entire body od smoke detector had be ripped out of the ceiling. And noticed how dirty and yellowed the hole in the ceiling was and assumed it had happened quite awhile ago judging by the amount of filth had accumulated. I later FOUND the smoke detector under the ice bucket with the little ice bucket bags. I Insisted my husband inspect the detector for a hidden camera bc why else would a improperly stored and damaged smoke detector be deceptively place in a hotel?Thankfully no camer found!!! unit barely put out heat.wasnt blowing properly and could not access filters bc they were broken multiple times across both filters and broken pieces were protruding from unit rendering a quick filter cleaning a 1000 percent A NO GO. With the room getting worse by the minute I started wandering about the bad things that I couldn't protect my fur babies from and decided to leave the room that we only showered in we in wanted no more surprises after driving little over 976 miles in one shot only to be given filth for our money and rewards. The room was great for the price. The staff was friendly and fast. But nowhere to take your dog to go to the bathroom. They need a place not by the road to take them. They have a large patio in back. There’s room for grass in the center.

The beds were just awful. So hard and very uncomfortable, only 2 very flat pillows on each bed. The toilet and bat tub were dirty. The freezer didn't work, the TV wouldn't shut off. The towels and wash clothes were stained. There wasn't a turn glass tray in the microwave. The front desk called our room at 8am to tell us check out was at 11am. We ran out of toilet paper called down to ask for some we were told they will replenish the next day. The room had no toiletries at all.

You get what you pay for
Paint was peeling, even though it smelled fresh. Stains all over the walls, even behind the TV. Hairs on the shower walls. No shampoo or conditioner. No lids for the coffee cups (good luck going back up to the 3rd floor with two full cups!) in the lobby, where I waited for minutes for service. The TV remote doesn't turn on the TV. Other customer waiting with me said he had bugs in his bed!!!

First the room key never worked and they even said it wouldn't and that everytime I needed in I would have to get someone to let me in. Secondly I could tell that the bed linens hadn't been changed because the sheet was wrinkled. Lastly I saw a few roaches in my room.

Hi Timothy, we had issues with that room lock since the morning and as it takes time to fix and there were no other king rooms available we had assigned you and mentioned about the lock issue. If you were not OK with it we would have tried to resolve it right then or given you a full refund. Also as there were too many Linen in the laundry we had wrinkles and if you let us know about your concerns during your stay we always try to resolve and make your stay a little more comfortable. We hope you give us another chance to serve you.
