No es hotel
La ubicación es buenísima, la única contra, es que no es un hotel, no hay una recepción 24hs, yo avise a que hora llegaba y me recibió la sra de limpieza, que ni siquiera le habian avisado de nuestra llegada, rápidamente preparó todo y al rato llego el administrador a cobrar lo que faltaba, el impuesto de la ciudad. No los vimos más. Ni siquiera para el check out. Yo quería hotel y reservé hotel, no estuvo mal, pero esperaba otra cosa. El ascensor súper pequeño, apenas entramos 2 personas y desde el 2do día estaba a oscuras. Poco probable que volvamos.

Charming on one of Rome’s best streets
The location could not be beat, just a short walk to the Spagna (Spanish steps) metro station, so super easy to get to via train or plane. The unit (we stayed in Monica) was simple, very functional and stylish. There is a (very) small lift which made carting our baggage incredibly easy. It’s a an older building so their are definitely some quirks, but it’s beautifully maintained, charming and had all the things we needed for our stay. Host answered all our questions quickly and helpfully. Would absolutely stay again.

Good location / Poor cleanliness - September 2023
We stayed 3 nights at this stay. It is not a hotel its more like an Airbnb. Pros- Good location to Spanish steps. Nearby train station and taxi services. Easy check in. Wifi works well. Cons: poor cleanliness. Stains on head board. The bathroom shower has mold which contributes to mold smell. The toilet bowl is stained and flush panel comes off when you push it. Furniture is worn. Unaware that someone would come in to make bed and change towels every day.

Caro e velho, mas bem localizado.
O local é um apartamento bem localizado. Mas o prédio é bem antigo. As instalações internas do apartamento são boas. Mas a estrutura é de um prédio bem antigo. Não tem portaria, porteiro, nada. Talvez por ser um prédio bem antigo, tivemos queda de energia no segundo dia de hospedagem. Acordamos sem luz. Comunicamos ao proprietário/gestor e o conserto foi providenciado em algumas horas. Mas ao chegar no final do dia ao apartamento, não tinha água quente para tomar banho. Em contato com o proprietário/gestor foi orientado mexer na caixa de luz, ligar e desligar disjuntores, mas nada resolveu o problema. Em determinado momento o proprietário/gestor parou de responder nossas perguntas. Resultado? Ficamos sem banho quente. Tivemos que encher copos com água esquentada no fogão para nos limpar. Foi uma situação muitooooo estressante, ainda mais acompanhada com duas crianças.

Average accomodation
The location was good, however the overall service was not great and the comfort of the room wasn’t great. It was difficult to shower due to the shower heads and the bed was hard. We also requested a airport transfer which was confirmed in writing and on the day they said they didn’t have anything booked in. Overall an okay stay but not amazing.

The location was great. High end shopping area and can walk to a lot of the sites. The description of the apartment made it seem more luxury and it was not. Bedding was ok, very hard firm mattress, floor was filthy and hair on the chair. The shower has a cloth curtain and leaked all over the floor cause it doesn’t keep the water in the small shower. Also, the coffee station is in the hallway.

Not really a “hotel”- more of a managed apartment
At first, this “hotel” was amazing! Great location & great price! The assistant that checked us in (Elena) was SUPERB!!! She allowed us to check in a few hours early and gave us all the important info we needed on a map of the city. She was fantastic!!! However, she did mention that the management had recently changed & she wouldn’t be working there much longer. Also, she mentioned the hot water not working & they were fixing it. We went exploring for the day & came back to take a shower after a full day. The hot water was still not working! I called the number provided & they told me that maybe it will be fixed in the morning. We could not take a shower until it was fixed, which was the following evening. Other than the hot water, this was a nice room... it is a managed “apartment” with a living area, mini-fridge, bedroom & full bathroom. The wifi is spotty (we had to ask 2 times for a different ID & password).

Nice, large room, with good amenities. Location was great, down the road from the Spanish Steps and fashionable stores. The manager of the property, Elena, was very helpful and courteous and spoke English very well. The Anglican Church is right across the way, and some of the best concerts in the city are held there in the evenings. We would stay there again.

Super Lage, leider nachts sehr laut
Die Lage der Unterkunft ist super für alle Ausflüge in Rom. Alles ist sauber und in gutem Zustand, die Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt. Nachts ist es sehr laut von der Straße her, als Nicht-Ohropax-Nutzer war der Schlaf eher suboptimal und das war ein fetter Minuspunkt.

Vielen Dank für den Kommentar. Unsere Straße ist in der Regel sehr ruhig, vor allem in der Nacht, aber es ist eine Möglichkeit, sehr zentral gelegen und wenn es spezielle Ereignisse kann es mehr Lärm sein. Wir bedauern, dass es während seines Aufenthalts geschah

친절한 스탭~ 비행시간때문에 체크아웃시간도미뤄줬음. 위치는 관광과 쇼핑에 최고. 객실도 넓고 현대적이고 깨끗. 캡슐커피와 티도 언제든 마실수 있음. 3인용 리프트가 좁으나 캐리어 나르는덴 문제 없었음..다만 화장실쪽에서 개미들이 한 두마리 나와서 신경쓰였음..

Great location close to all the tourist sites. You are right in the middle of shopping district. High end stores, many restaurants near by. Room has high ceiling. And we got a free upgrade. The lady was so nice and friendly. She let us have a late check out. Great service.

Our stay here was very comfortable and enjoyable. The room was very clean and fresh and it was nicely airconditioned for our arrival. The location is great and only a few minutes walk from the Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo, Villa Borgese and the metero stop.

Great place, friendly host and excellent location
Stayed here for 3 nights and it was a very positive experience. When we arrived was a little surprised as it's not a hotel with a reception. Was just shown a big green door. You will need to press the bell which indicates 'Romeo' and our excellent host Elena came right down to greet us. Brought us to our room which was excellent and quite large. Location was also great and walking distance to everything in Rome. Lots of shops and restaurants on the street below. Overall a great stay in a lovely place. Will recommend this to a first timer to Rome.

Excellent boutique apartments better than a hotel!
We arrived late at night and the receptionist Elena was waiting to help us through our check in - She was extremely pleasant and helpful showing us everything we needed for our stay. The rooms are so spacious and modern - unlike any of the hotels you would get in Rome and even had all the extra commodities you would get at a hotel ( bathroom necessities etc.) I loved the little passage with the Coffee/Tea table whereby you could help yourself at any time of the day to cakes, biscuits etc.The location is absolutely perfect - walking distance to all attractions. Overall a lovely stay at this apartment and would definitely recommend to any of my friends traveling to Rome.

Fantastic Stay!
We stayed in the Monica room for 2 nights, June 6 and 7 and had a wonderful time. Romeo al Babuino has 3 big rooms (almost like apartments). Our room was huge as compared to most of the rooms that would be offered in Italy. It's located in a high-end area and just 5 to 10 minutes walk to the Spanish Steps. We can't ask for a better location. We wish that we had stayed there in the beginning of our trip. Alena was very attentive to our needs and questions. We asked for a wake-up call at 5:00 am and a taxi at 6:45 am on June 8. Everything was done right on time. We were very happy with the attentiveness and services offered by Romeo al Babuino. Keep up the good work!

Chambres très agréables, dans un "hotel/appartement" idéalement situé
Une magnifique adresse pour voyager incognito. Tout est parfait dans le moindre détail, tout est fait en toute discrétion dans une très jolie suite meublée avec très bon gout (petite cuisine si besoin), et réellement très bien placé. Le seul reproche que l'on pourrait faire est que l'on ne se sent pas réellement dans un hôtel, il n'y a pas de parties communes où l'on peut croiser d'autres personnes ou manger quelque-chose, mais ceci pourra paraitre un avantage pour certains. Pas de surprise à la fin du séjour (montant payé = montant annoncé), 15mn de téléphone gratuites par jour, même le mini-bar a été offert. Un endroit à retenir et à conseiller.
