It was small hotel on a beautiful Panamanian island. It was managed by the owner and family, great staff,onsite restaurant with very good food, 5 min from 2 very nice beaches. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Le falta servicio pero sirve por la ubicación
Muy poco servicio pero ubicado muy bien, los empleados que limpian habitación o sirven el desayuno son super amables pero en recepción nunca había nadie, la dueña solo te cobra y luego desaparece, no daban información de la zona y como ese fin de semana tuvieron un evento grande sirvieron tarde el desayuno y no dieron la opción de cena, dejando todo el hotel a oscuras de noche. La ducha no estaba buena, poca presión de agua. La habitación era cómoda pero simple. Ofrecían una terraza con pileta pero la misma no estaba habilitada. Está bien para una noche pero no para más.

I appreciated the free pickup from and to the ferry pier. The location was good. A walkable distance to beaches such as Playa Larga and Galleon beach, also 2 mini supermarkets and some other restaurants. The dining options of the hotel was also good enough, with the inclusive breakfast in morning, and a good selection of food on dinner menu in evening. The staff were courteous and helpful, despite the language barrier. The room was spacious with a mini fridge and good shower. The only I was not happy about was the air conditioner in my room. I attempted to switch to different modes, but the air conditioner always worked as a fan only. With the 30 degrees temperature and humidity, I struggled to cope with the heat when I was in my room. I had to take frequent shower to cool down myself.

Island paradise found.
With steps away from a beautiful, uncrowded beach Gerald’s is a great place! We enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and friendly people we met. With upgraded air conditioning in rooms and comfortable king sized beds we lacked for nothing in this island paradise. Breakfasts were well prepared and restaurant menu had enough variety for lunch and supper. Highly recommend this place!

Very nice owners and staff. Excellent service. One of the best in Contadora island. Food is fantastic, highly recommend. Rent a golfcart to go around the island and beaches. Book early.

Awesome! Love Gerald and Sabina. The food is delicious, the place is nice and tidy, super close to the beach and they pick you up from the ferry too! No complaints at all, definitely will stay here again.

Very cosy place. Gerard is friendly and helpful. A lot of squirms and deers walking around the property. Nice to chill in the hammock outside the rooms and close to the nicest beach. Highly recommended!

Lovely place on a lovely island
We loved the tranquility of the island, the hospitality of the owners. The breakfast was simple but just what we needed. The restaurant offers sufficient variety of foods and drinks and we dined there every evening. The furnishing is scarce but we spent the days on the beach anyway. All in all, excellent, memorable vacation. We loved it.

Gerald and staff were very nice and helpful. The room had a funny smell when we first entered but I think it was from the cleaning supplies. The wifi was not very consistent and kept cutting out in the room. Overall, it was a lovely stay

I was impressed with this bed and breakfast. This is a small Island but very beautiful. The guest room was clean and good a/c. Also Gerald and his wife were very accommodating. The food here is good and better than the other places that I ate. I missed my first day of check in because I missed the ferry. He kept my reservation and even refunded some of my money. I did not ask him to do this. This would be my choice if I was visiting the island again.

The location was great, near beaches and small stores. The food in the restaurant is great and the breakfast is superior. All staff was pleasant and extremely helpful. There is a gentleman, Richard, who assisted me in getting a boat for whale watching, fishing, and sightseeing. Incidentally, we did find the whales!

Overpriced, in disrepair.
Let me start this off by saying that the room was ok, but definitely not worth the price it cost. Let's start with the very cheap bed that is given, it's built on an extremely cheap frame and just doesn't look nice. The room is very spacious but lacks not only decor but it just feels like a hospital room, not a hotel room, Yes there is a closet or wardrobe, but the room is bare other than that and the bed. The Bathroom needs a complete renovation. The showerhead barley puts out any water pressure all the tiles in the shower are cracked or some are even missing. And down to the smallest things; even the toiletries are terrible: the toilet paper is rediculously thin. The Soap is like a wax candle and doesn't really work at all. The proprietor as well was not very hospitable. I told him that I tried to email him, and even showed him the email and asked why he never got back to me and just said he didn't know why. Honestly, just completely unimpressed with this place.

If travelling to Contadora, I highly recommend. Gerald and his wife are very friendly and informative. Gerald provided a short ride from the ferry to the hotel, and back upon departure. The room was not brand new, but it was perfect for the island, and clean. Also had Netflix and YouTube. They also make good drinks :)

Fast check in. Really close to a nice quiet beach and walking distance from the ferry. Disappointed by the fact that no one told me where was the pool and what was the wifi password. Had to find it by myself. Food at the restaurant was so so. From my room, I could hear the people from the room next to me talk.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gerald's
My wife and I stayed at Gerald's for 3 nights and we really enjoyed our stay. Gerald and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. They helped us arrange golf carts and excursions. The hotel is in the best location on the island close to 2 gorgeous beaches. The restaurant served a great mix of seafood, local, and German food. There was a lot of wildlife to see right off our balcony. We would love to go back and stay at Gerald's again and would recommend it to anyone.

Great Time at Geralds!
Gerald the owner was a great host, he greeted us off the boat an escorted us to his BnB. The place is perfect in everyway, short walk from ferry drop off but don't worry Gerald will be there waiting for you!. The bar and restaurant is sooo cozy and relaxing. The chef is amazing, we ate every meal there!. The room was immaculately clean, and I have traveled the world over again, and stayed at incredible luxury hotels, but this is a little gem. Did I mention they have parrots, beautiful hummingbirds that feed right next to you in the restaurant, to the owners wife feeds and pets Bella the wild deer each evening and they recently have a new member of the family a 4 month old beautiful huge Mastiff puppy named Gordo who will grow to 185 lbs as an adult. Good hotel - near to beach, airport and ferry
We had a very nice stay here - on looking around the island this is certainly one of the better options available. Clean rooms, good food, great breakfast (the lady serving breakfast was excellent - always cheerful and helpful) and a brilliant location just steps away from the beach, the airport and the ferry. Very short walk to coffee shop, restaurants and other shops. Coral Dreams tours just around the corner is also superb. Overall a good option for Contadora - quite a lot of the island looks a little unloved; this place was clean and simple with a good bar/restaurant area.

Geralds - The perfect hideout on Contador Island.
We were greeted by the owner Gerald at the beach when our ferry arrived. He whisked us up to his B&B and showed us to our room. The room was clean and very comfortable with AC and TV! The property is great. There is a rooftop lounge with a view as well as a dipping pool. Gerald and his staff are extremely friendly. Gerald has been on the island for 28 years and can answer any question. There is an open air palapa that is the reception, bar, and restaurant. At night tourist mingle with the locals. Geralds food is excellent. We would recommend this B&B to anyone who wants to escape the mainland and relax on Contador Island. We look forward to returning on our next visit! Thank you Gerald for a great stay!

Pleasant stay at Gerald's
Great location within walking distance to beaches and ferry. The rooms are basic but clean and have all you need. Breakfast is good and the restaurant has a nice menu and the food is very tasty.....try the fresh fish. Gerald and his wife are very helpful.

Excellent B & B
We really loved staying here. The location was perfect, situated between two beaches plus an easy walk to the village. The food at B & B Gerald’s was excellent. Full breakfasts were provided and we had very good dinners in their restaurant.

Very welcoming staff. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the breakfast delicious. Location was perfect - right off the beach where the ferry lands and across the street from the airstrip. A short walk to Coral Dreams, the grocery store and the golf cart rental shop. A great value for the price. I would definitely stay here again.
