El hotel está ubicado en la zona sur, es viejo dan buena atención, si lo que buscas es algo económico en la ciudad es la opción entendido las limitaciones en las instalaciones

Find another if you can
They did not honor the reservation rates; they charged us $100 extra once we were there. They did not accept cash, which was stated nowhere. The non-smoking rooms smelled like cigarettes.

Estancia familiar en San Diego por 2 días
Nosotros usamos los hoteles sólo para dormir y la mayor parte del día estamos fuera visitando la ciudad. En este sentido el Motel San Diego es adecuado porque ofrece lo mínimo que necesitamos a un precio razonable. El Motel ofrece habitaciones con 2 camas grandes en poco espacio, y tiene un cuarto de ducha pequeño pero funcional. El personal es atento y amable y la limpieza es adecuada. El aspecto del motel es viejo pero si no te importa, te lo puedo recomendar por el precio. Lo mejor que tiene es la situación céntrica, a pocos minutos en coche de la playa La Jolla, el puerto o el Downtown.

Don't go.
Do not go to this motel unless it's your only option; dirty, falling apart and unsafe. We got inside the room and stayed there 5' and then we left and booked a new motel. Way too expensive for what it is. I don't think it should even be opened.

Muy mala, arañas en la habitacion; pisos levantados; sabanas de cortinas; las sabanas manchadas: toallas mal lavadas; la atencion del front desk pesima, me dieron una llave de una habitacion que estaba ocupada.

Property price for value was not great as it was very low quality room for the $109 charged. I definitely wouldn’t stay again. Also i arrived at 10pm and the room had not been tended to when i arrived. Had to wait for clerk to clean room and change sheets. Ridiculous for the cost of the room

I like old buildings and grounds. No problem with the old-fashioned room interiors. BUT my alarm clock didn't work, and I'd called in advance to see if I could place a wake up call and told I could, but told no on site.

Although the overall price for the room was fair, the room itself needed to be updated very small. The bed felt like it was a DIY bed. The shower was small. Took about 15 minutes for the hot water. Homeless all over the area very noisy very uncomfortable bed also was told please do not use the towels to clean up any messes along with the bedding. Was almost afraid to make Whoopie I just Just Wanted to make sure I got my $60 deposit back although the atmosphere felt like I was trapped in the 1940s or 50s

Needs some updates
If you're just looking for somewhere to sleep for the night for cheap then it's fine. No extra amenities like coffee or breakfast or Anything like that. The room has a weird smell. The entire place could really be updated.

This this place need’s to be remodel , the front door need to be more secure, someone can kick it open, the beds are not comfortable makes to much noice, the bathroom door was broken, and the toilet kept moving and u can see water coming out from the bottom, definitely the price should be under 50 dollars , and also there was hair on the pillows from other people that stay there, they definitely did not clean the room

The door lock was very flimsy and not secure. The shower hose was broken. Room and bathroom were good size. Good location for easy access to activities through out the city.

Skin crawling bad
First room was not clean, the second room didn’t have air conditioning. Both bathrooms were tiny and disgusting, no lite in the shower. Bed frames are cheaply hand painted to cover that they are to old. Rooms didn’t look anything like the pictures. When we rang the bell as we checking in outside, it took 5 minutes to get someone to the 6x3 pass through. Not sure, but seemed to have several long term guests. Was so bad we decided to go across the street instead.

It was in a great location for the three places I wen to. The photos on hotel.com are out dated. It looks like a cozy little hotel. I wasn’t trying to spend much this trip. I thought why not give it a try. The staff was very friendly, the room was as clean, but it’s outdated. The room needs some major updates and the bed was hard. There isn’t much room to put your belongings. The bathroom is super small.

Had to move rooms, as the air stopped working and left the night extremely hot and muggy and wasn’t able to have a comfortable night. Let the attendant know and they only gave me a $30 Discount when the night should have been free.
