Breakfast is NOT included!
The Hotel is Ok, BUT, the Hotel app says that check in is 3PM-midnight. When we arrive there at 2PM they say that check in is 4PM. Finally, they manage to get a room at 3:20. On the other hand, in the app says that includes breakfast (I choose this hotel for that!) BUT NO, because the COVID they are not serving breakfast. I think that after more than a year and a half with COVID they have had time to clarify this in the app. Too bad.

I am very sorry for your feelings towards the breakfast. Yes, we could do breakfast in our lobby, but everyone that would be checking in and out would also have to wait for those guests as well. Unfortunately, due to the amount of space, social distancing would be impossible. The website also notes the breakfast is not included at this time due to COVID. We do hope to resume our pastries, dcoffee, and juice as soon as it would be safe again. Thank you for trying us.

Completely false advertising! I kept stepping on a carpet.Talk near the bathroom and stabbing my foot, and I have taken several pictures of the stained and torn carpet, damaged walls, damage door frame, and mold on the bathroom wall!

The staff and nice lady at front desk where a bonus to our stay. It was also very clean for a beach property. We will definitely come back when visiting San Diego!

great location in Pacific Beach. Close to the beach and walking. Lots of restaurants are around the location. A little noisy on some nights. Room was clean and basic. A good bargain in February.

Everyone we spoke to was so friendly and knowledgeable. We felt very safe and comfortable in our room and the surrounding areas were also friendly and quiet. Everything fun within walking distance.

The reviews on this property were mixed, as they are for most anything that's under $200 a night next to the beach in San Diego. However, if you adjust your expectations accordingly and don't expect a five-star resort, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. We stayed there for five nights during spring break and the room was large, clean, quiet and comfortable Big bonus for being literally steps from the beach and next to a wide variety of restaurants and attractions. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for somewhere economical to stay and still have money left over for all the other fun stuff in San Diego. The staff here are very nice as well. Pro tip: Pay a little bit of extra money for a partial ocean view room. You'll be closer to the beach and away from busy Mission Boulevard.

No Wi-Fi. Coffee was undrinkable. Wreaked of marajuana. Front office closed without notice. Got downgraded in hops for better Wi-Fi, but did not receive money back on downgraded room. Ran out of all toiletries and could not get more

The room was nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable. However, there was a strange smell in the bathroom (I had to keep the bathroom window open the whole time we were there). Turned out there was mold inside the overflow hole in the sink). The property does need some TLC on the outside, but it is within walking distance from the beach which was great.

I am very sorry to hear about the drain in your sink. It sounds like we could have poured some bleach down the drain to resolve the issue. We do thank you for staying with us and hope you will come back again.

Nice place, a little dated but clean, clean sheets and nice bathroom and shower. Expedia charged me over 230.00 for one night, the hotel only charged me 99.00 for additional nights! Check the hotel website or call them, don't use Expedia for this hotel.

Like proximity to beach, shops and restaurants. Check in staff were nice. Did not like they did not restock and clean room They did not stop people from smoking. We had people smoking weed next to us the whole time. Could not sit on patio bc it stunk. Moisture with doors slamming and car alarms going off and patio furniture scraping late into the night. Beds not comfortable with gross Bally dirty blanket. Pool looked prison like, not enticing at all. It looked like where sea world keeps orcas when not performing. Awful! We noticed Pacific Terrace hotel had a super cute pool. That is how to do it. Dated hotel. Expensive for what we got. Pics look much nicer. Won’t stay again.

The room we booked smelled strongly of toilet and the facilities were all rather outdated, especially the ceiling fan whose leaves were almost falling off.

We are terribly sorry for the consition of your room. We have been replacing a few of the ceiling fan blades each month as they are getting worn with time. We should be scheduling a few more rooms for renovations soon, and this with the planned exterior renovation should bring us back to where we are expected to be. We hope you will try us again.

Parking is good and near the coast beach. Some front desk services are good other are not probably during holidays weekend. The place had some upgrade but not enough. They need more major remodel on wall too thin (very noisy), door scratches/wall need repaint, carpet replace to floor more clean, cabinet in restroom old, the towels look old (color kinda off-white/gray/yellowish), toilet made some water noise at night time to time, the pillows and bed mattress are not comfortable at all. I can’t sleep due to super soft pillows and mattress super sink down. I hope they’ll remodel this place soon. Location is a plus for this place if want to be near the coast beach.
