La empleada que nos atendió cuando llegamos el 23 de julio fue súper amable. Me encanto el desayuno en el restaurante aunque estuvimos esperando 1 hora.

Buen hotel en Viejo San Juan
Buen hotel en el viejo San Juan para un par de noches si vas de vacaciones. A pesar de que su estilo es colonial tiene por mejorar y renovar algunos detalles en la habitación. Buena limpieza. Por la tarifa deberían considerar incluir el desayuno.

Nuestra experiencia en El Convento
Formidable, hermoso hotel. Servicio de excelencia. Estacionamiento $20 dólares el día frente al hotel. Todo el personal es excelente. Estuvimos hospedados en la habitación 316. Solamente tenemos 2 señalamientos no satisfactorios: 1. El matress de la cama era horrible no pudimos dormir durante las 3 noches que estuvimos allí y 2. La puerta de la habitación se encajaba y era casi imposible abrirla. Por lo demás todo perfecto 100% recomendado.

Beautiful and unique hotel in the heart of Old San Juan. Nicely updated, but expect things to occasionally work poorly. Staff was excellent.

The hotel is nice and staff is welcoming and helpful. We had a family room which is two a joining rooms. They had high ceilings, luxury linens, each room had its own bathroom—very nice. Oh, they even provide a nice hair straightener! Which is nice when you’re from the US. So you don’t have to have a converter. The only thing I didn’t realize when booking was that the street the hotel is on doesn’t allow cars so you have to be dropped off around the corner. But we saw when we got here that it isn’t really a big deal. We also got breakfast with our room and this location was perfect for walking to many sights and for great restaurants.

Super friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful historic hotel with open courtyard / standard room was pretty basic inside but comfortable. Perfect location in OSJ for walking to restaurants, attractions, etc. Wine and cheese every day at 5! Would definitely return.

Small issue at check-in but staff was able to fix quickly. Very convenient location and great onsite restaurants that can cater to any food preferences. Valet attendants were very helpful with directions, recommendations and hailing taxis for us. Room was charming and very nice. Bathroom could be bigger but that’s a personal preference and wasn’t a deal breaker. Beds were comfy and fans on the ceiling were quiet and great. Overall very happy and will stay there again.

Great property. Pool was too small and few shaded mats with one umbrella broken so hard to sit out on lounges without a sun shade. Towels for pool plentiful. Slow service for breakfast waiter never came over even after asking so we ate elsewhere. On the whole I would stay again as I loved cleanliness kind staff ambience and safety of hotel(you needed key to get to room floors on elevator). Also a nice vibe lots of weddings are held hear and next to lots of shops and restaurants. Nice touch that wine and chees complimentary daily.

We loved staying at this hotel, it’s a beauty old convent and is right in the heart of old San Juan. We paid an extra $75 a night to upgrade to a suite as the queen beds were v small. Definitely worth pre-booking dinner in San Juan as many restaurants were fully booked. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we would definitely return

Lovely setting. Modernized rooms with period common spaces. Nice sitting areas on 3rd floor and beautiful patio bar and restaurant. Excellent staff, though the dining room is slow on weekends.
