The hotel is nice but I don’t recommend it at all. The walls between the rooms are so thin, it seems that the guest from the next one, is inside yours. You can hear all the talking, showering, etc., and this didn’t let us sleep during all our stay. The doors whip and due to the thin walls, the sound is not dampened, making it impossible to rest. The next thing is that the cleaning service is terrible, everyday I asked for them to do it and they only made the bed and changed towels (when we arrived the bathroom was really dirty and it kept that way until we left). The last thing was that the water from the shower came out under the glass, making a pool in the sink area and despite every day asking to be fixed or changing rooms, they did nothing. The service and hospitality have everything to improve. It is a nice hotel to visit and maybe to have brunch on Sunday but I absolutely don’t recommend it for staying.

El hotel está muy buen ubicado, en pleno Viejo SAN JUAN. El edificio es bellísimo y ha sido remodelado con gusto exquisito.

Overall, we had a great stay. The staff were all super friendly and knowledgeable about Old San Juan. From the moment we checked in until we checked out, every request (within reason) was met. Smaller details like a free umbrella, and complimentary chocolates really made us feel valued as customers. The hotel is beautiful and well decorated with a vibrant courtyard and bright yellow walls. The rooftop pool area was also very clean and inviting with service and plenty of towels and water. The gym (located on the rooftop) was pretty small and cramped, but again, clean and maintained. Now for the not so great parts… our room was NOISY both outside and in the hallways. There were times at night where you could hear people in the hallways or entering their rooms as though they were in the room with you. The street facing the front of the hotel was blocked to car traffic, but the perpendicular street (facing one wall of our corner room) was very loud. We heard protesters, church services, people yelling, loud cars, trash pick up, and loud music at all times during the day and evening (especially the weekend) up until 10:30 pm or so. It kept us up late some nights, so be wary that you will likely not be sleeping in most days. I don’t put that fully on the hotel and to their credit they offered free ear plugs. We also attempted to rent the free bikes and they were pretty beat up and the tires were flat and needed to be pumped.

The property was immaculate. The service and staff was exceptional. The location was on point, very convenient, walking distance to food, shopping and great scenery. I will definitely re-visit.

My wife and I liked it so much on our way into Puerto Rico that we returned again to stay here on our way out. Great for couples and the rooftop pool and bar were excellent. Close to lots of shopping and dining.

We are a puertorrican couple celebrating my husband’s birthday. The hotel is beautiful! Fully refurbished in the Old San Juan colonial look. The staff is polite and helpful. Our only observation is that the housekeeping service is regular, not to say, poor, came late in the afternoon and only made the bed. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay, the bed and pillows were good, and the location is excellent. Would recommend it, and hopefully will stay in the near future.
