Unfortunately the cabins are not being kept up like they used to. There was mold in the shower and other areas of the bathroom. There were cobwebs and dust in the corners. Cobwebs on the deck with a multitude of bugs stuck in them (the May bugs can't be helped but just a quick sweep to remove the cobwebs would be easy). The cabins are not cheap. Also, there is a gate to enter Cedar Point properties and when booking through Expedia, you do not receive the proper confirmation to enter the gate. I had contacted Cedar Point before arriving and they emailed a confirmation letter but the gate attendant was still unable to find any reservation. Of course I was allowed in but this is a problem.

Our WiFi did not work. The Cedar Point staff gave us a phone number but the company we called had no idea how to help us. Very frustrating.

First time to Cedar Point, lake front cottages are charming, well appointed and clean. Included with stay is convenient parking, family friendly amenities and early entrance into the park. Highly recommend staying here for your first/next visit to CP. wish we could have stayed longer

This was 3rd stay at Lighthouse Point over the past 5 years. Love the convenience from the park, the view of the lake out the front of your cottage is beautiful! The cottages definitely need some work. The decks are worn and are in need of power washing. The inside of the cottages smell musty and was unpleasant. If they could up their game in these departments it would be great because it is not cheap to stay here. We love Cedar Point! Great getaway!

This place was great. The property is within walking distance of the water park and amusement park. They also offer a shuttle between the parks and restaurants at the hotel and marina. It was very convenient for members of my party to leave the park for a break and return later that night. We stayed in a cottage which had everything we needed. It was a great setup. The pool was nice and clean and provided towels for guests. They also had a nice laundry facility but you need to bring detergent. The employees at check-in were very helpful. I would definitely stay at this property again.

This is a good place to stay if you want to be able to walk into the Cedar Point park, but keep in mind that you are mostly paying for the location. If not for location, the cabins should cost about half of what they do per night. PROS: - Everything in the CP resort area is walkable from Lighthouse Point. - Communication was excellent. I received an e-mail prior to the trip with all the info I needed about where to go, and it included a QR code to be scanned at the parking gate to avoid being charged. - Good parking set-up - They let us check in nearly 6 hours early because a cabin was available - Plenty of linens, and decent little kitchen with sink, fridge, and microwave CONS: - The cabin was kind of minimalist for the money. There was only one real bed, and it was a double. The other "bedroom" had two couches that looked like pull-outs, but were actually just benches with cushions on top. They were good enough for my teenage boys to sleep on for one night, but would not be a good sleeping situation for adults/multiple nights. There was a loft over the kitchen and bathroom where you could probably lay the couch cushions and make a bed. But overall, I don't know how more than 4 skinny people could sleep in one cabin. - The loft made the ceiling of the shower strangely low, which made the showerhead strangely low (about neck level for me). Overall, I felt it worth it, as we came to spend most of our time riding roller coasters and not hanging out in the cabin. Recommended

Cedar point is a fantastic amusement park. We loved staying in the Lighthouse Point cabins. They were walkable to all the restaurants, the amusement park, water park, boardwalk and beach. They were a fun feel compared to a standard hotel.

We loved it here. We stayed in a cottage for 6 people. Will definitely stay again but maybe a bigger cabin next time and for a few more nights.

The cabins were a fairly nice size for my family of six. The bedroom had a funky smell to it. Overall I would not have paid the amount if this were anyplace else. The proximity to Cedar Point increased its value as we were able to walk around 5 minutes to get entrance to the park. They also had shuttles available for those who did not want/unable to walk. The had a nice pool and hot tub area.

To start, I would say that we absolutely loved staying at lighthouse point! I have been going to Cedar Point for many years and have always driven 2 hours to get home after, which is no fun when your body is store from both rides and walking the park. We loved that the cabins were easily accessible, clean and provided more than enough linens. The windows in the cabins make them feel bigger than they actually are and the fact that you can order from Boardwalk Pizza (totally recommend) straight to your cabin was amazing. The entire lighthouse point area (RVs/Cabins) have such a chill vibe and atmosphere. Definitely cannot tell it’s right next to a huge amusement park. We only had two negative reviews on Lighthouse Point. One being the fact that the cabins, aside from linens, are pretty bare bones. If you visit, be prepared to bring EVERYTHING. Silverware, plates, cups, grill accessories (which was unfortunate because we don’t own a personal grill to reuse the utensils on) even small things like dawn doshsoap and hand soap. There are no small shampoo/conditioner/body wash. ONLY a small bar of soap in each bathroom. The store has everything you can think of, just way more expensive. Secondly, the Midges were the biggest nuisance of all. They are EVERYWHERE and on everything. The swarms were disgusting and once they got in the cabin, there was no getting out. Though, we understand there is nothing CP or Lighthouse Point can do about them. Don’t visit in late May/June

I like the parking is including with your stay. I love the fact that they let us check in early I didn't like the knock on our front window at 1230 at night I didn't like that our curtains were broke I don't like the there's no utensils to use for your cook out.
