Right on the water in the town of Sitka, with very nice staff. Quick complimentary airport shuttle (seasonal) with knowledgeable driver— friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. Good dinner in newly opened pub/cafe. Great fresh fish n chips as well as locally caught fresh seafood. Breakfast cereal, yoghurt, pastries, fruit , coffee are provided for your self made breakfast. Fridge and coffee machine in my room. Sparklingly clean bath and abundant hot water. Elevator. Right next to charter boat dock. Enjoy!

Location is central to a lot of areas of interest. Staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. Shuttle to and from the airport and ferry terminal are always available.

Room was small, cozy, and very, very clean. Bathroom was well stocked and immaculately clean. I loved the room decorations of Alaskan wildlife; they added to the atmosphere but didn’t overpower. Wonderful scenic views from just outside my door; took a lot of very nice photos. I’ll highly recommend it to my family and friends, and will definitely stay there again if I ever return to Sitka.

Great place for your Sitka trip!
We had a great time here! Highly recommend for your stay in Sitka. We had the best nights sleep and the beds were VERY comfortable! We ate at the restaurant there as well and it was very delicious. Will stay again! It was not too far from “downtown” but not right in the center so it was nice and quiet on the harbor.

Right on the water! 5 min walk to downtown. Great room- clean with comfortable beds, great ocean views, and quiet. Hannah is a superb manager!

Wewere abke to check in Early. Room attendant was personable and friendly..Kitchen was vlosed for the season. But stire was minutes away..beautiful place. But no coffeee cuos in room.or telephones And there was only enough creamer for one cup of coffee but no cups. No ice machines available. But Room attendant got me some after asking...will definitely stay hete again..large spacious rooms love the Complimentary eco friendly Shampoo & Soaps... if you ever wanted me to stay here again..and pay for it. I will..

The picture says it all!! It's even nicer that than description on the web site. Walking distance to restaurants and shops are very close. This is the best hotel in Sitka if you like being on the water. Customer service is outstanding thanks to Kevin the manager. He knows all you need to know about Sitka. Thanks to Kevin for making our stay even better!! See ya' next year!!!

Sitka is still a charming fishing town!
Every interaction with the Longliner Lodge surpassed my expectations! The owner takes great care of his guests and works the equivalent of three employees (staffing is an issue in Sitka too, I even tried to poach his childhood friend who came up to help out!). Excellent experience despite flight delays.

It was clean and very cute. It has all the amenities and is very comfortable. The views are amazing. My only complaint was that the location of our room #1 was next to the restaurant (which has great food). The acoustics are not great and it was very loud.

Hannah was so nice! She picked us up from the airport even though it was late, even with her toddler daughter in tow. She even offered to give me herring eggs. I also loved the view from the deck. It was right next to the water and I got some great sunset pictures.
