Beach Getaway
The property exceeded our expectations! The location was steps away from the beach. We enjoyed the pool at the complex. We explored the island and toured a Bird Sanctuary and SeaTurtle Inc. Our hosts communicated very well and answered any questions we had. We would definitely book here again!

Great place
Great condo with ocean view. Very clean, great beach access, excellent security. Was 1st weekend of Spring Break ( not booked for that) but condo and area were very quiet. Will definitely look forward to booking again.

Clean, Comfortable, and Close to the Beach!
We had a wonderful stay at this property. This 1st floor condo unit is steps from the beach and very clean and comfortable. We were concerned that being so close to Claytons was going to be noisy (especially over spring break) but being on the far west side of the condo complex was enough distance for it to be a non-issue. Would highly recommend staying here and hope to return in the future.

Everything was great with the property . Communication was excellent . The condo was very clean . If your renting make sure you bring shampoo , your condiments that you will use , paper towels , toilet paper if staying for along time . (3 rolls were supplied ) , beach towels , laundry soup , and your beach stuff . (Umbrella etc…) You can rent 2 chairs and a umbrella for $35 a day off a guy on the beach . It adds up over a week .

Great experience
We really enjoyed our stay in the condo. This was the perfect location, just off the beach. The owners were very transparent and easy to communicate with. Before we checked in, we were notified of a very minor issue with the condo and given the opportunity to use another unit at the same location. We very much appreciated the owner being upfront and honest with us. Instructions and expectations were very clear and easy to follow. Thank you for making our 10 year anniversary trip a memorable one. We will definitely be back in the future.

Great place
It was a great place. The only setback for us was the stairs. We rented a first floor property so we wouldn’t have to worry about stairs. Unfortunately there was a small set of stairs to get to the property.

Thank you for renting our second home and your review. I do want to clarify that this is a first floor unit and there is access to the property without using the stairs which are in the middle parking lot. The stairs you used are the ones from the parking lot coming from the beach parking lot. Those stairs are only 4 steps to walk up from the parking lot to the property. I would recommend parking in the middle parking lot, that would works better for you.

Great stay but watch out for extra charges
Upon seeing all the labels in the apartment I knew it would be impossible to avoid some extra charge. While trying to avoid the sand in the apartment charge we received a dirty towel charge because we placed some towels by the doors to catch the run off and help keep the apartment floors clean. We were also surprised the beds only had a sheet and fleece blanket and one spare blanket in the closet I would suggest bringing other blankets. Toilet paper was provided but no paper towels so also bring a roll. The kitchen is the best part of the place all appliances and dishes are provided and it was great. I will suggest to bring a sound machine for night time to not hear the other neighbors. All and all it was a great stay

Literally 50 feet from beach access and chair/ umbrella rental. Short drive to any restaurant- the condo itself was also very nice. Definitely recommended!

Another Great Experience
This is our second year in a row at The Tiki and with the same hosts. The condo was great, as advertised, great location, a walks away to the beach. It was everything we were hoping for. Will look to book again next year.

Pristine!
Absolutely beautifully done property. Great location for watching the sunrise with your coffee! Everything was immaculate and comfortable. I appreciated the labels in the cabinetry to make sure everything was returned to its proper place. Excellent, timely, and very friendly communication with host. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends.

Husband/wife getaway
Love the quick beach access and new remodelling of the condo. Easy to walk right in and feel at home- we lacked nothing and enjoyed the details like instant hot water in the shower, dehumidifer in the condo, comfy furniture, king size bed, etc... Like that it was a private community that was well managed. We will definitely return!

Amazing Stay
We just rented this condo for the last couple of days and we could t had picked a better location and place. This condo is very clean and updated and just a few steps from the beach. I had a couple of questions during our stay, and Toni was always available. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back here. If you are trying to decide on which condo to book that has everything you need for a pleasant stay, this is the one! Thank you Toni!

Very nicely furnished, the kitchen was well stocked with dishware, cooking ware, and gadgets, and perfect for the two us and our King Charles Cavalier. We would definitely stay there again. Toni and Mario, our hosts, made it so easy for us.

STEPS FROM THE BEACH
This property was probably one of the best places we have been to on a beach. It was steps from the beach and we could seriously go back and forth if we needed anything, it was so close and convenient. Inside the condo we couldn't hear any outside noise. It was great. We absolutely enjoyed our time at the Condo. Thanks again Mario and Toni and Thank you for making everything so easy during check in and out and during our stay. It was flawless. Like being at home.

We loved everything about this place. It was very clean, a short walk to the water, lovingly decorated. The beds were comfortable and the appliances new. Absolutely wonderful! We would stay there again.

The Best Condo at the Tiki!
We have stayed at a few different condos in this complex. This condo was the absolute best, and is exactly as described. It is beautiful! All the decor, furnishings, and the well stocked kitchen with everything you'd ever think of, neatly in its place. We were very impressed on how clean everything was. We loved our time in this condo. One of our favorite things about this complex is the beach is just steps away. We also like the short beach walk to Bar Louie part of the Marriott Hotel, next door. Thank you for a great stay! We're already looking forward to the next time.

The Condo and the Property were exactly like the VRBO website displayed.displayed.
The Condo was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It was very comfortable; all of the appliances and furniture were in excellent shape. The beach/ocean was footsteps from "The Tiki" property. The walks on the beach were beautiful and memorable. People were friendly and willing to share their favorite spots to dine or recommend an excursion. The two pools were very clean and warm. The property grounds were well taken care. Great location. Will be visiting again.

Long Time Travelers to South Padre Island and the Tlki Property.
If have been vacationing at South Padre island (SPI) for the past ten years. We have stayed at several different properties and several condos at the Tiki property. This was probably the best appointed place we have stayed. Every inch of the place was beautiful and has made us consider several changes we want to make our own house! Working with the owners throughout our stay was also a joy.

Really enjoyed our stay! The kitchen was well equipped for being able to prepare meals. The lounger on the patio was awesome and the location was great for a view from the patio and just a few steps from the beach. Condo was very comfortable and nice!

First trip to Padre
We had a wonderful stay during our first visit to South Padre! The condo was a perfect fit for our family of 4 and we never had any problems with noise or parking. We brought a cooler, chairs, umbrella and beach toys for the kids and the quick access to the beach was so convenient that it made easy to get all the gear down to the beach. We definitely plan to come back!

A+ and unbeatable access to beachfront
Beautiful property with great family oriented interior design theme feel. Cannot beat the locations access to the beach right outside of your front door.. Kids loved being able to walk out and be right there at the beachfront for crab hunting. Very clean and the owners were quick with communication and created a warm atmosphere.

Walk distance to the beach. Excellent for us seniors..
It was much fun needed family vacations. Our daughter and family 2nd time renting your 3rd floor condo and she highly recommended to check with you a 1st floor for us. My hubby has issues with his knees. I like the bathroom without tub. Overall we enjoyed the stay in condo #138. Will keep in touch God willing. Take care. Blessings.

Nicely decorated condo within steps to the beach. Owners were extremely nice and communicative. Check-in and check-out process were a breeze. Right across the street from the Sea Turtle Rescue and Birding & Nature center. Would highly recommend!!!

This place is SO close to the beach! If you have a small group of 2-4, this is ideal. The manager was VERY helpful, though there were no issues. It's a great location for Fri/ Sat fireworks as well.

A great place to stay!
The condo was beautiful! All the finishes and touches were great. The owners communicate with you through the whole thing and respond very quickly. The location of this one was great, beach access and only a couple stairs to go up from the parking lot. I was worried there would be a lot of noise in that spot and once we were in the condo we didn’t hear anything, slept great every night, the beds were both very comfortable as well! Everything was thought of to make your stay great here and you can tell!

Condo was great, it had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. We had a problem with our shower, the owners reacted immediately and got a plumber there to fix the problem within 2 hours. Beach view was great. Just a hop, skip and a jump from the water. According to my kids the Murphy bed wasn’t very comfortable but they made due. I would definitely stay here again. The Communication with the owners was clear from the beginning of booking till we checked out.

We have stayed in several different units from this family and at the Tiki condos. They are always comfortable and clean. Short walk on the beach to either Claytons beach bar or Bar Louie at the Marriot.

Cute & Comfy, Great Stay!
Beautifully decorated, cozy, & just steps the beach! The Tiki's are some of the oldest condos on Padre Island but the complex and this unit are well kept. Check in and out was contactless a breeze. The owners were just a text/phone call away and very attentive. We'll definitely return the next time we're looking for a quick get away!
