This hotel was really crappy.. from the check in area that stunk and had dirty sheets thrown around the lobby. The parking lot and overall place is run down and looks like its being repaired but its not.. the rooms.. the tub floor was loose and felt like it would crumble under foot and the room just felt like it was a place you stay if you are homeless.. not that you actually paid $150 a night for... DO NOT Stay here.. abort abort.

Price no worthy. Too expensive for that hotel no matter the holiday date. Poor cleanliness. Front desk was kind and helpful. No hair dryer, no iron, just shampoo and towels.

Location was convenient, but shower did not drain properly. No garbage can in bathroom, broken toilet paper holder. Musty smell in room. Could use a little sprucing up; just seemed rundown…

Beware of loud music from Bar next door
The Manager was friendly and efficient and the room and property overall were decent for the price; however, there's a bar / restaurant right next door with an outdoor patio and apparently outdoor speakers and they played the music so incredibly loud we couldn't even relax in the room and watch TV without hearing the crystal clear music and constant thumping, Sleeping was out of the question so with the music still blaring at 11 pm we packed up and drove all the way home.

When we first glimpsed the motel it looked a little scary. There was yellow tape around the patio area. The bushes were overgrown. The room looks and smells clean. The tv works very well. The wifi works great! The staff was friendly, courteous, and professional. I recommend getting a toilet seat that fits the toilet and a fresh coat of paint (inside and outside) and trim the bushes. Clean up that lobby!

I was very disappointed. The price was not warrented for the lack of quality. Cold air came in through the bathroom window. there was no shower curtain, they did bring one after we checked in. No phone or clock in the room. The tub did not drain properly

Clean and economic choice for the area.
Very easy check-in by a friendly staff. The room was spotless, but overall the property is rundown. Convenient to downtown historic area and dining choices by car, a little further than I would walk. Right next to train tracks so light sleepers beware. Was a last minute reservation so we considered ourselves lucky.

Good location in an area with more expensive hotels. This is definitely an older, bare-bones, no frills sort of place. But, it was clean, comfortable, and seemed safe. If you are bothered by 1960's style furniture and bathroom setup then you may not like it, but it worked for me.

NEEDS TO BE CLEANED UP
I think the rooms were pretty clean but the bed was awful we actually left. They really need to fix their shower heads not made for tall people at all. There toilet paper holder was not working. Only one garbage can in the whole room. Also their was food still from the previous people in the refrigerator. Would not recommend it. When I entered the check in lobby it stunk so bad. Not impressed, should have asked for my money back.

No trash cans or coffee makers in room. owner very nice and says he just got the place and was trying to fix it up. Needs a lot of work. Says he cant find no one to clean. the bed was ok but the pillows were not. Not really a good place for the price but that was about all that was left that night in St. Augustine.

new ownership, this hotels is very dated, but the new owner seems to be trying to make improvements. everything was clean and comfortable.

Owners are very friendly. Inside is renovated and clean. Working on the outside. Great value for St.Augustine. The outside is bieng renovated. Throw back motel/hotel. Working on a retro restoration.

Price fits accommodations and service
Many available rooms and parking spaces due to the fact we were one of very few guests. Definitely fits the “Motel” classification. Bed was itchy, not enough pillows, toiletries were subpar. Definitely felt like the location was on point with an hourly motel. Front desk was rude about a requested late check out. Will definitely not return. Obviously I was not expecting amenities I would get at a more expensive lodging, but hospitality goes a long way. And great hospitality doesn’t always have to mean more expensive.

Friendly quiet hotel
Friendly new owner, clean sheets, clean towels, comfortable beds, and good location. 5 minutes from the beaches and downtown St. Augustine. Pool closed unfortunately but no complaints, would be happy to stay here again!
