“Friendly guests here. Nice kitchen and free coffee/tea, toast and cereal each morning. Check-in was very strange: since I arrived around 8pm, the front door was closed, apparently you are supposed to schedule a check-in time, but the hostel never contacted me to do so. Luckily someone was exiting, so I managed to get inside. Comfortable beds. The main thing I disliked was that the bathroom, kitchen, and bedrooms are all one different floors, so I was constantly going up and down stairs.”

“El hostal está bien, pero el problema es que a partir de las 10 pm aprox. Ya no hay nadie que controle y los chicos hacen muchísimo ruido durante toda la noche. Dormir varias horas seguidas es imposible y además a las 7 ya están pasando la aspiradora. Si querés descansar, no lo recomendo, pero si quieres conocer gente. Hay muy buen ambiente en general”

“I spent a few nights at the Asylum Sydney and can recommend this hostel although its furniture is a bit long in the tooth. That i enjoyed my stay is primarily due to the fact that the staff were very friendly and helpful and the mix of the guests was very pleasant and due to the small size of the hostel you easy make contact with other guests. Other benefits are plugs for every bunk, locker on the room and free but simple breakfast.”

“Me ha encantado este Hostel! No es el típico hostel de juerga. Es nuevo y está impecable. Es perfecto si quieres un sitio solo de mujeres donde puedes hacer amigas. Habían chicas que se quedaban varios meses mientras trabajan, y me pareció una idea genial para quien busca trabajo y quiere hospedarse en un sitio seguro y tranquilo. Recomendable! ”

“It was good. What you would expect from a hostel. I did not see any plates or utensils available I was only there for one night so I just used my own but did not see anything written about getting it from the front desk but other people seemed to have utensils from the front desk. They also have signs that they will kick you out if you do not wash your dishes immediately so there was not a pile up of dishes - but the dishes seemed like they were half washed. Nothing new for hostels. ”

“The location is great. Very close to King Cross station. The staff are friendly. I also like free luggage storage. But the place stinks. The Wi-Fi sucks. I mean good Wi-Fi is like the baseline a hostel should have and you fail. There are not enough bathrooms. People have to queue up to get into a bathroom(which combines toilet and shower together, so if you want to pee, you have to wait for people to finish showering). ”

“Was pleasently surprised with an ensuit for the cheap price of the room. Nice and modern. However there needs to be signs to direct to all rooms. We couldn’t find ours and eventually went up a fire exit stair case to find it. The lady at the front counter was extreamly slow and she read aloud that my card had been declined due to insufficient funds. We all know why our cards decline, it was unessasry for her to read it aloud in front of everyone. Also, the morning breakfast is a let down. It’s...

“Creo que es una muy buena opción (claro, hay mejores lugares si tienes el presupuesto), pero si eres un estudiante internacional o un working holiday es una muy buena opción por la ubicación, fácil transporte, te permite conocer la ciudad ya que estás en el centro, hay personas de todas partes del mundo y puedes hacer amigos y contactos que aquí lo que vale son los CONTACTOS. Estuvimos en un cuarto compartido y me pareció justo. Si volviera a empezar, sin duda me iría por este hostal de nuevo....

“Sérieusement c'est le pire hotel en Backpacker où j'ai pu aller niveau propreté... On a eu des cafards dans la chambre, on avant rarement du papier toilettes, la cuisine etait dans un état épouvantable et je ne parle pas de la salle de bain du 2e étage...”

“We had cockroaches in our room and there were rats around the building. The reception was closed at 7:30AM, we had to call the number that was left there and we were asked to check out in the hostel next door. ”

“Close to supermarket in 2 mins walk including traffic lights and easy to take bus to harbor bridge or other area.”

“mould all over the shower curtains in the bathroom. I didn’t want to shower because i didn’t want to breathe in the spores. No door on the bathroom, Just a curtain that was see through. The room could have been cleaner. The traffic outside was extremely noisy and it wasn’t really near any restaurants. It’s passable if you’re desperate but otherwise i’d book somewhere else. ”

“Muy buen Hotel, excelente habitación con todo lo necesario, buen internet, en general todo muy bien. Solo un comentario respecto al idioma, no hablan Español, por lo que es necesario saber inglés para cualquier tipo de comunicación. ”
