We are sorry that you felt this way. In our rules listed, it's stated that no more people than number on reservation, without pay. You booked and paid for 2 people. You had 6, and a few days with 8 and 10 people. We accommodate by a flat fee that is significantly less than what you should pay. More people, more consumption, more trash, more wear and tear, more cleaning, more toilet paper, more washing, more drying, more paper towels. All these costs money. We continue to improve our property to make it a better place for all our Guests. Outdoor construction in Seattle - clean up after concrete that was poured a month ago - 1 day only - can only happen in the summer. The contractor As for road construction, it was not our choice and similar to Seattle limitation due to weather. Sorry for the conveniences. The contractor was sitting at the edge of the step on the deck to have lunch and without my awareness. As soon as you inform me, I asked them to be in my dinning area instead. Our property features are disclosed fully as listed, and with pictures.

For future Guests information, this Guest wanted to book for a lower cost property. the lower cost property is booked so we offer this higher end but newly listed for her to stay - since not many lodging available left. She got upgraded to this higher end at no additional cost (instead of $75 more per night) property that she is providing the review on. We sure will put more proper and professional looking signs. We don't want to have all capacity (2 bedrooms, 8 people) priced when some people don't need it. Most family wants only 1 bathroom and wants to pay for one. Others, if they need 2 will need to pay for two bathrooms. We price based on number of people. This Guest wants to have 8 people to stay but put on reservation of 4 so she would pay less. We operate our business with honesty and we expect our Guests to do the same. The tape on the lock - to prevent - people locking the door and lock themselves out of the room. It happened with other properties that we had. So we implement no locking bedroom. In hotels or other houses, no locking bedroom is possible for the same reason. Camera sign outside is to deter other people that should not be on the property - to protect Guests staying at the property.
