You can tell it’s an old hotel. They tried to update it with new things but when a huge rain came through there was large leaks in the foundation and it was coming through the wall. Most of the first floor was flooded. My car wouldn’t start so I needed a jump and none of the front desk personal would help me nor find someone to help me.

The hotel was good for us for what we Needed. The breakfast was very good. The staff was really nice. But we did have some unwanted roaches in the room. That was a big surprise.

The common areas floor and elevator needs a deep cleaning. They did occasionally slop a mop over the floor but it still looked incredibly dirty. The rooms also could use a deep clean and some dusting. The hotel felt safe and I have no other issues but I would definitely look into a nice hotel if I ever stay in Temple, TX again.

Dear Thomas, thank you for your comments. I believe the reason you found our customer service to be bad is that we expected you to have a valid credit card when you extended your stay. By the way, you still owe us for one night room and tax.

Very nice hotel. Has a modern look, great amenities, great breakfast, free parking, and friendly staff. Great location to Temple, Texas. We will stay there again.

3 teams were staying at property, requested not to be on same floor. Assigned room was next to side exit on bottom floor Parked in Handicap space just outside door convenient for unloading and loading car. Never heard any noise from teams in room located on 1st floor. Only complaint was lack of a shower chair. Did not request handicap room , none available on checking in . Handicap daughter not capable of standing to shower..so she was not able to use shower.

I booked this hotel specifically because they had an indoor hot tub when I checked in. I asked the front desk person what time the hot tub was open until she told me 11 o’clock fast-forward 20 minutes later I go down to the pool area and the hot tub button don’t work and then I go to step into it and it is ice cold, as I go to leave, there are no towels in the pool area but multiple signs telling you to dry off before you come back into the hotel. I had specifically asked about the hot tub. It would have been frustrating that it was broken but at least they would’ve been a problem with me and I would’ve went to a different hotel at check-in

Great staff. Really friendly people and helpful. The doors are extremely loud opening and closing. even when trying to close the door softly it still makes a loud noise.
