I would not stay again. Rocking up the office was closed. No visible marking that we can check in at the Tarven. It was on the main street and was not feelig safe about the area.

The owner was fantastic and friendly. The accommodation is simple but clean. The surrounding area, because it is next to a bottleshop, feels unsafe.

Considering it is Tennant Creek the motel room had a very clean bathroom and linen the whole room were clean including the bed covers , the room had a beautiful smell as soon as the door is open it even had the cleaned paper strip on the very clean toilet seat “haven’t seen this for years in any motel that we have stayed at , there were even biscuits and a mint on each towel. We will be staying there on our way back from Darwin in a couple of weeks , Very impressed ! After 4pm is a good time to check in.

We had 2 nights over Easter weekend. A good base to explore the area. Was very quiet. Room was clean and comfortable. Fenced parking area for security was good. Thank you.

Aircon was not good enough. Very old equipment. It had the temperature setup at 25 degrees Was hot inside the room. Free wifi didn’t not work at all Weak signal.

Booked last minute and got a good rate. Room was perfect for cost and extremely well presented. Only negative is the owner/ manager was not overly pleasant. Like he did not like the online booking, although did not realise I tried to call twice direct with no luck.

Very nice clean unit. Comfortable bed. Initially put off by the outside presentation, so pleasantly surprised. Felt very safe with secure off street parking. Good basic meal at hotel.
