“Our stay at Villa Erifili was exceptional! Errika, our hostess, was waiting for us at the airport, helped us locate our car rental and then we followed her up the very steep hill to the villa. A car rental is a necessity as the villa is located in a quiet area up high and away from Skiathos town (but only a 10-15 minute drive). It is a quiet part the house placed in a fair plot of land and easy parking. The road leading to the property from the main road needs some improvement and drivers ought to take some caution. “We had an amazing time staying in Kalabaka at the Rock and Stone. It was easy to find, easy to access and beautiful yard to sit and enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks looking into a small gouge. The short walk down into downtown gave us ample cat sightings and more than enough choices of excellent food. The monasteries are a must!!!”

“This villa is in a beautiful stunning rural location but by car its less than 10 minutes from Skiathos town and this makes it a perfect retreat but still near amenities. Erstes Problem war, dass man mit der Buchung keinen konkreten Namen der Unterkuft erhält, noch eine genaue Adresse. Somit war es erstmal schwierig die Unterkunft zu finden, ist auch überhaupt nicht beschildert. Ohne Hilfe der Einheimischen, überhaupt nicht möglich. “The journey to the cottage qas confusing and not for the faint hearted. We arrived late which made things tricky. However, we loved the cottage. Beautifully and thoughtfully renovated. Views were amazing and we loved being visited by the local cats and puppies in the morning. We went on the Pelion train (a must) We visited lots of beautiful places and made some lovely friends.
