Thank you for your review. We are pleased to announce, the backyard is quite large for a pet's enjoyment! There are dogs in one yard that backs up to our yard, but they have always been very friendly. As advertised we do have basic cable and high speed internet. However, it is a smart tv to allow guests to watch whatever they prefer. The ice machine does not work so in advance we have always made sure guests have ice trays as well as a Britta pitcher for water. The baby gate we use to block off the basement does work quite well. Upon Lesley's suggestion, we went and made sure the guidebook was up-to-date and checked the baby gate which is working as it should. Thank you again.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The mattress is less than a year old and we constantly have comments on how comfortable it is. Trash day is every Tuesday, we cannot control what prior guests throw away but we do have weekly trash service. We’re sorry you had a bad experience. We’ll strive to do better. ”

For those familiar with homes in Kansas, most of them have basements. When there is a large amount of rain, homes with basements do have a temporary musty smell. This is a very popular home so it does not sit empty. Guests just checked out the day prior to this reservation. Check-in is with a keypad any time after 3:00. We pride ourselves in providing an effortless check-in to all of our homes.
