A few things to know before you book: the property from the outside looked a little dated but the inside was well appointed and relatively well maintained. They provide a great breakfast but that is it. Everything else is a separate charge including parking (I actually got a ticket because I didn’t realize I needed to prepay my parking) and the pool/ water park. The pools were great, there are 2 bigger slides and one small one, an indoor pool, an indoor/outdoor pool, and two large kiddie pools. The room was nice and well set up but there was a horrible smell in the bathroom that never went away. We didn’t report or complain but I would think the staff would have known about it. Overall the hotel and amenities are showing their age. There is mini-golf but it’s tiny. There is the SuperPark which looks fun for younger kids (all at separate surcharges). It could be a great getaway for a day or two but that’s it.

Hello, thank you for a well put feedback. I'm sorry about the misunderstanding of the parking fee. There are no other common parking areas nearby, therefore the owner of the lot collects parking fees(currently 1e/h or 13e/24hrs) to provide our guests available parking space. I apologize the smell in you bathroom. It is highly recommended to tell our reception if you notice smells or a lack of cleaning. Then we can notify our cleaning manager about the matter.Hopefully you still had a wonderful time during your vacation, welcome again!

Family time
Delicious breakfast with many dishes to choose from, something fornthe whole family. Beds seened tonwbe quite new with supersoft gel upper matress. AC was working overtime to keep the room at the set value. Did bot visit the waterpark, tho it looked great!

Superpark view room could be noisy during daytime
The family room is ok but just a bit noisy with 3 boys in the next room, also there were a lot of noise from the superpark during day time, so better don’t choose superpark view room as it’s not a view you can watch your kids playing but just a dark/black wallpaper on the window.

At check in was told that entry to pool costs extra when it was obvious this is the main attraction to come to this hotel - it was never offered as extra just assumed part of hotel stay fee. No services like restaurants were open on Sunday. Pool closed 7:30 and not 8. It was not a relaxing stay and I would not stay again

Hello, thank you for the feedback. The use of our pools is an extra choice in the room reservation, this way we can provide our customers just the type of vacation and price range they need. The pools close every Sunday at 7.30pm and the saunas and dressing rooms at 8.00pm. Our restaurants operate on Sundays too, but before the holiday season they closed a bit earlier. We warmly recommend to check available services and opening hours in advance. Hope to see you here again!

Spent one night with family. Spa area starts to be a little bit old. Nice bit not so fresh anymore. At dinner we waited for the food apprx 40 min for burgers and the beef was over cooked. Would say that a ok basic place for shorter visit

Don’t be fooled. It is an average hotel.
A very average hotel and definitely not value for money. Expensive but because of the name, I opted for it instead of cheaper ones. Big mistake. They then charged us 13 Euros for on site parking for the night ‘s stay on top of the £139 we paid for an ordinary room for the night. I will definitely never go back. Feel free to try.

Breakfast was outstanding! We also really enjoyed the spa, especially the wood burning and the smoked sauna that was heated over the weekend. Downside would be paid parking.

Good for leisure, not for business.
The hotel is predominantly a leisure hotel focusing on families and the spa facility. It is not near any other facitlities which are within walking distance although it has a fast food facility and R Kioski on site which is very convenient. It also has the best equipped hotel gym I have seen in Finland. The hotel has also made effort to upgrade the furnishings above the usual Finnish hotel chains which are normally sparse and basic bringing to a better European standard international travellers would be used to. However, from a business perspective it is not a recommended hotel for me. No business centre, the rooms are really extremely small with no desk only a pull out small work station so if you need some room work your only option is to go to the noisy restaurant or seating area with the leisure guests. When asked about a business centre they offered me a meeting room I could rent - which is not a solution and suprising as they also market this as a congress and convention hotel. Staff are also not geared up for the business travellers not customer service. Better than many of the Scandic and Sokos chains and a tremendous leisure hotel for families but if you are on business - look elsewhere.

Our hotel have four different room types and biggest of these; suite and superior have also tea and coffee assortment. Standard room is our renovated double room, but room type does not include so many comforts as superior. I am sorry to hear that for some reason you didn't have stay-over cleaning. This is a great place for families, and obviously the pool area is the main attraction! But also the fact they have multiple restaurants onsite, a small convenience shop, games section, etc. Now to the less great parts... The bathroom in the room was very old and in desperate need of renovation! In rooms, there seemed to be no international channels which was quite poor as well. Thankfully there was some programs in english (as they only subtitle in finland rather than dub. This is a water park hotel, and they put slippers in your room, but you have to pay 3.50 Euros for them! This is not the cheapest hotel, and so even if a marginal cost it just seemed very silly. If I knew, i would have packed my own flip flops. We either went in shoes or barefoot down to the pool area. Breakfast was very poor, especially set up during Covid-19 times. Although tables were maybe not right next to each other, there were so many tables just next to buffet. Being crowded, you ended up constantly standing next to tables where people were sitting. Only one juice machine operating and they provided miniature glasses, so constant long queues for juice. Serving spoons were not changed during the hour. Food was poor, tasteless scrambled eggs that had obviously been fluffed up with milk for cost-effectiveness. In rooms, there seemed to be no international channels which was quite poor as well. Overal very happy with our stay
Stayed for one night. Staff was friendly and helpful. We chose standard room, which was comfy and quiet. Breakfast buffet had plenty of choices. Didn`t use the spa or waterpark.

Good for short business trips
The hotel is reasonably comfortable. I have stayed a few times on business and my room has always been clean. The breakfast has a fairly good selection of different things and it is nice to be able to use the gym. There are places to have dinner but I have not tried them. It is a bit of a walk to the city centre but doable.

Hotel location was good near to the city center, room was small for 3 people, but I was aware of it. My room was not very clean under the bed (dog hair), cleanup must be improve. Breakfast was ok, but bread was not fresh. The overall is ok.

Not enough dining options. Breakfast was horrible. Garbage disposal very inconvenient. Only stayed because Scandic Julia was booked. This turned out to be lots more expensive.

Second stay in 2 weeks.. Each time you have to move the beds to plug in the overhead lamp. On this occasion power socket was lose. Big place, good exercise walk to reception. I sleep well here

Overall, my stay in this hotel was ok. The main issue I was concerned with was the cleanness of the room (as you specifically expect so from hotels in this price range). The sheets and the toilet were perfectly clean but you could see dust on the room corners. But for some people this probably is not a big issue. The breakfast was really good. The location was in a good walking distance from the Turku School of economics. The staff were helpful and kind.

Rooms are tiny, even the superior king. Barely had room for our suitcases when the second bed was folded out. Air conditioning is controlled by the hotel. The pool area is fun.

The hotel is quite expensive, more than 200 Euro a night, not value for money. Facilities in room are simple and limited, no sofa (only one chair), no fridge, no safe, no sanitary facilities. The room was not made, the rubbish bin was not cleared and the towels were not changed.

In need of Ownership change
It's located at the middle of nowhere. To the town centre it is a 20 minutes walk. The pool, steam room and sauna is in need of renovation. The staff cleans the bathroom only ever second day. Breakfast looks and tastes every day the same. The staff in hotel restaurants are opposite of service oriented

Property is located in a good place away from city centre but in terms of amenities of room I am disappointed because it does not have room hot water kettlle which is really needed for me. Fan maximum speed is low and in this hot season with no AC service its bit difficult. Bathing space is very small. Otherwise room is fine. There is no complementary water bottle ( drinking). I had to go and purchase this from a shop after I reached the hotel . The hotel should provide one bottle free of cost atleast the first day. Other than this room is fine.

Thank You for Your feedback. We can provide rooms with kitchen amenities if needed, the minimum stay for our holiday apartments is 2 nights. In standard hotel rooms we do not have the possibility for boil eater. However in superior rooms we have a water kettle so that would be more suitable option for you next time you visit us. My room was average quality but there was no fridge for drinks. Spa was nice but the hotel was a bit off from city center. Easy to get taxi though, or reasonable distance to walk to. There was a great bar to look at ice hockey on multiple screens.
