The staff was very nice to me and made check in and check out very simple! The room was nice. The shower took a while to heat up but once it did it was great. The water pressure is good here! I liked the kitchenette in my room!

Dirty, small rooms
The rooms are small and haven’t been updated in years. The A/C was filthy and covered in some mystery sticky substance as was most of the rest of the room including the doors. I’m used to a Motel 6, and this place is still beyond sketchy and dirty. Nice area of town though.

A Surprising Stay For The Price
Very impressed with the cleanliness and look of the room. They can't really control the overall "behavior" of guests, so I won't complain it. Within the room, you won't be disappointed with the stay.

One of the rooms shutters were broken so we couldn’t close it all the way, second room had cigarette burns in blanket on bed and the bathroom was dirty and had graffiti artwork behind the tv and smelled like cigarettes.

Had people outside just walking, felt unsafe. Upstairs just people hanging around looking what was going in. The room was disgusting. Patched walls. Definitely not worth booking. Not worthy to be a motel 6.

Good luck trying to get a refund
The overall experience was ok. I grew up in the area and came down with my boyfriend to visit family. I had initially booked our stay for 2 nights. My boyfriend wanted to stay an extra night and wanted his card to be charged instead of mine. They charged his card for a new room instead of adding another night to our current room and so we got locked out of the room we were staying in. We went back to the office and explained again that we already had a room booked and just wanted the extra night. They said they wouldn't be able to use his card since my name was on the booking. They said they would cancel the payment on his card and only mine would be charged. It has been months and the charge was never refunded on his card. It's in an area I am familiar with which is nice but I don't think I'd book again just because it's been a hassle to get the money back.

The area around the motel is a 10/10 - my cousin suggested it bc it was close to her house. However, the hotel is currently running as a halfway house or something like it. It is meant to help get people off the streets - which is meaningful and good - however, I stayed with my 2 teen daughters and we were definitely out of place (3 women alone). Nothing happened other than loud neighbors and staring eyes but it was not as expected. Additionally, the room itself wasn't really cleaned, the towels were stained and the bed covers had burn hole in them. We made the best of it since you have to pay upfront - but overall will not stay there again.

Just OK
Overall the place was ok. Our toilet was plugged when we got there and were handed a plunger at the door to take of the problem ourselves. For the most part the room was clean, but the floor was not. Our white socks were black in the matter of minutes of walking around the room. Since it was only 1 night is was ok. If I had to stay more than one day, I probably would have found another hotel.
