The property and especially the staff were amazing! We were a little concerned when we walked in when it was dark as it is a very quiet alley. That all changed as we got to know the area. It was a perfect location near everything we wanted to see and do. Our room was well appointed, spacious and clean. Better than the pictures show. The hotel is very chic and the staff are very helpful and pleasant.

Bed bugs
Hotel had bed bugs, they refused to refund money after we complained about bed bugs. As they said they have a no cancelation and no refunds policy. Do not stay here.

Wear Your Galoshes
This hotel is centrally located to the water bus and many restaurants. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the Acqua Alta, which is basically a flooded street. We had to wade through calf high water to reach the front of the hotel where we were greeted by a slim wooden board propped up from the street to the door. I'm not sure what this is for as you would be hard pressed to walk up it or use it to get your luggage from the street to the door. A large board or an old door would have done the trick, but we were soaked before we even got to this point. Granted, we understand the flooding is not the fault of the hotel. The staff at reception are kind and will make you a coffee in the small dining area, but there is no breakfast in house. Our room was spacious and everything worked well in the bathroom. I was grateful for the terrazzo floors because when we arrived, our shoes were soaked and ruined. I think these floods are seasonal and we visited in October.

Very friendly staff, helpful with multiple requests including asking for later checkout when our flight was delayed and phoned a hotel on our behalf to speak Italian to request a booking. Only problem we found our whole stay was a shower head which was broken. Would definitely stay again.

It was a very purposeful hotel. A clean place to sleep when not out exploring. Rooms are small but nice big bed. A little Noisy in the morning. No breakfast available or coffee, tea, except instant in the room. Sometimes difficult to communicate with staff, but everyone tried hard. The cleanliness was lovely.

Nice local hotel with everything
Nice local hotel with everything we needed and close to everything. Clean, quiet, and friendly. No large sign or other markings, so it can be a little hard to find the entrance.

The hotel staff was incredible, making sure we plan our activities. We learn how to get to the hotel safely, also the most incredibly delicious breakfast. While we didn’t receive room upgrade or any free perk, we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay, with the most amazing delicious breakfast, and the most kind staff. Greeting to Ricardo who made our stay incredible.!

The check in experience was very welcoming. The staff were super friendly. The property was gorgeous both in the lobby and the room. We were blown away by how clean the hotel was. It was also conveniently located near all of Venice's main tourist sites. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Venice.

The staff are outstanding. As soon as I made my reservation, they were attentive, helpful, caring and efficient. The hotel is well located. They organise transfers to/from airport. It’s honestly the best hotel you could hope for. Thank you so much for a great stay.

The hotel was lovely and location perfect for getting around San Marco and other areas of Venice with oat services nearby. We did not receive our VIP gift, but to be honest we did not remember to ask. House keeping was the biggest let down. Towels at times left dirty, floor not mopped or swept, door left open and not locked and generally the level of housekeeping was below average.

Perfect hotel, faultless!
It is amazing, best value for your money, massive room with a little seating area, facing a small street. Very quiet at night (might be double glazing windows), highly recommended! There’s a gelato shop literally 20 steps away and many restaurants. You can sit late night at the small canal edge that is nearby, very nice!

Clean area. Great staff. Nice area. Only downside is it isn’t right next to a boat stop so you should make sure to bring minimal luggage to haul around with you on the small side streets. I booked a basic room without balcony which was a nice way to save money - but they had other options that were higher end

Great boutique hotel
I can't imagine a better choice we could have made for our two-night stay in Venice. This 13-room boutique hotel is located in a really cool neighborhood about an 8-minute walk from San Marco Square. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom is quite modern. The staff was extraordinarily helpful.

Super Lage
Superlage, auch die Anreise per Vaporetti ist einfach. Leider ist das Hotel von aussen kaum zu sehen - ich lief eine halbe Stunde im Kreis - anschreiben wäre hilfreich! Von der Reception bekommt man eigentlich immer den Tipp, man solle googeln :-), ansonsten freundlich. Mein Zimmer mit Queenbed war ok für mich allein, zu zweit wäre es mir definitiv zu klein. Schönes, grosses Badezimmer, alles sehr sauber. Leider musste ich mir jeden Morgen anhören, wie jemand ausserhalb hustete und anschliessend ausspuckte, das war eklig. Auch gibt es Gäste, die bis weit in die Nacht im Garten sitzen und sehr laut sind. Abgesehen davon eine empfehlenswerte Adresse.

Very welcoming staff at reception who made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Our room was cleaned each day and we enjoyed the range of options at breakfast. The hotel location is superb - easy 5-10 minute walk to San Marco Plaza and the Rialto Bridge. The surrounding streets are full of amazing restaurants, shops and gelaterias so you don’t have to go far to find somewhere for dinner! Close to alilaguna stops for easy transport to and from the airport as well as vaparetto services to surrounding islands.

The location is fabulous, 30m away from the main thoroughfare between San Marco and Rialto Bridge. Plenty of dining options for all budgets, surprisingly quiet yet bustling with shopping, local shops full of character. Hospitable staff, very helpful, very welcoming. Absolutely loved the surroundings.

We had a lovely stay at Palazzina Fortuny. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is located in a central area and close to restaurants, shops, and key tourist locations. More than anything, the staff at this hotel were wonderful. Giovanni and Trevis were so helpful! They provided us with maps and detailed directions as well as information about the area. Giovanni received us at the drop off area and also helped us take our luggage to the water taxi to the airport. All in all, a great experience! Shri and Shivaram

I honestly cannot recommend this hotel enough, super comfortable super clean and super location but what made it a clear 10/10 was Lara, she met us from the pier and walked us to the hotel and gave us such amazing restaurant tips and told us what to do and what not to. It was amazing
