“If all you need a clean place, comfortable bed and hot shower you will get that here. The door did not lock with the key when we left but you could lock it when inside. The internet really didn’t work. No air conditioning but ok for September. It was good for us just to explore the area for a weekend. The owner was super nice. I would stay again! ”

“Maybe we were not the type of people this motel was meant to serve. We just wanted a nice, comfortable, clean place to sleep. This place was not that for us. It seemed to me to be a place where a bunch of young people rent a room together, ski all day, then just crash. The building was in desperate need of repair and upgrade. It had NO HOT WATER, so we could not shower. And it had ants. It’s a one and done for this place for us!”

“We completely enjoyed our week at the Pond House! The dogs loved swimming in the pond off the private island. We loved the privacy, spacious backyard with Adirondack chairs, kitchen, and overall vibe of the property. The house had plenty of room, good wifi for a couple of us working remotely and a huge kitchen that we made good use of. We did have a couple visits from a local skunk in the backyard so watch your dogs if you have them! The loons were beautiful to listen to and we saw a family of...

“We very much enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect. It was so quiet and relaxing. The house came with everything we would need, we only needed to buy groceries. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog to also be able to enjoy his time in freedom. The host was informative and helpful. We will definitely stay again! ”
