Great Start
Coal mine beach caravan park is a wonderful place to stay. We were in a cabin but if you are thinking of caravanning or tenting, all the bays are covered by trees. The park is very quiet at night. It also close to many attractions.

Very peaceful place to stay. The kids loved staying in the eco tent, and the camp kitchen was so convenient. Very friendly reception. Will definitely be back.

Loved our short stay in Walpole. Was a great position and provided some lovely scenery around the property for walks etc. Very accomodating and helpful staff too.

Great stay in a glamping tent except that we were next to the cookhouse and a tour group were very noisy until after 10pm. On a rainy night they also occupied all the chairs and we had to eat elsewhere.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay . We stayed in a eco tent with bathroom The whole experience was amazing. The bed was so comfy . The area is beautiful from the walking traks to the beach and inlet . Would recommend for anyone to stay 😀

Coal-mines Caravan Park is a wonderfully bushy, shady, well maintained park on the shore of the Nornalup Inlet adjacent to the Southern Ocean. It is the perfect launching point for walks surrounding the Loop and Inlets, sections of the Bibulmen Track, and very easy access to The Valley of the Giants, Mt Frankland and the Frankland River. Perfectly suited to those keen on decent bush walks, bike rides, paddles and walks.

Very impressive first time glamping experience
Beautiful setting in a well-appointed glamping tent. Super comfortable, scenic and nicely decorated. Everything you could need. Beach was a beautiful and quiet setting, check in was a breeze and the amenities were spotless. Def recommend the glamping tent!

Being right on the inlet was great. Could see it from our chalet window. Room was simple but very comfortable. Had everything we needed without the frills which is perfect for what we wanted. Lots of walk trails close by and a boat ramp. Close enough to town to be convenient too!! Thanks for a great stay Highly recommend this accomidation.

The cabin we stayed in was wonderful. It overlooked the inlet and we had privacy. We originally booked a glamping tent but it was not what we expected from the advertising. The receptionist was wonderful to upgrade us to a spacious queen chalet for the stay. It was clean, comfortable size for family of four (2 teenagers) and lots of fishing spots in walking distance. Would definitely return to same place.

Loved our 2-bed waterside en-suite chalet, with wild kangaroos that hopped past! Beautiful setting by the water. Lovely modern spacious chalet, highly recommended.

Only stayed for one night but property was clean and had everythjng we needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Wifi was down unfortunately. Bay was lovely with very shallow, warm water. Not far from town itself where there was a choice of eateries available and other shops.

Ankunft 17.15 Uhr, leerer Handyakku verursachte vermeidbare Unannehmlichkeiten. - Internet nur in Rezeption oder deren unmittelbarer Nähe verfügbar.

Hello Ralf, so sorry your battery was flat as we do have an after hours check in. We are not sure why your booking agent advised closing time of 5.30pm as our winter closing time is 5.00pm although we are here later most evenings. Great little place down by the ocean. Cabin was one of the best we have stayed in. Very well appointed, better than than a lot of more expensive motels. This would be a walker's paradise.
