As a hobby photographer, watching the light on the water and hillsides was mesmerizing. Eagles can be seen soaring nearby, many other birds darting through the trees. Lovely sounds in the morning and evening. Great location -- easy to walk into town, or drive down either side to Moran or Turtleback for hiking. It is a quiet residential area,...

“This is just what my sister and I were looking for. It was quiet, clean and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and enjoying beauty of the outdoors. There are a few items that could be updated inside or repaired but it didn’t distract from our stay. The kitchen didn’t have any bowls to make a salad.”

“Although by no means 'fancy' digs, the house and its furnishings were perfectly comfortable and ideal for our group of six. It was a 5-8 min walk to the center of town, so convenient to all activities. We didn't do any cooking so can't speak to the adequacy of the kitchen furnishings, but you do need to provide your own coffee. Simple, reasonably priced accommodations in a beautiful location.”

“We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well appointed, it had everything we needed and more. The bedrooms were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for people to gather and spaces to spread out.”

“Overall, we had a great stay. The house is clean and in a great location — about halfway between Eastsound and Moran state park. We appreciated the fenced backyard for our dogs. Only negative was that there isn’t a ton of seating in the living room (one couch and a few papasan chairs that were low to the ground), which might be something to consider if you’re coming with more than 2 adults (kids probably wouldn’t mind the papasan chairs as much).”

“We went away with friends. It was a great house that had a lot of what we needed (pots, pans, coffee pot, etc) It was clean, easy to get to, quiet neighborhood and wonderful view.”

“Had a wonderful time over Memorial Day weekend, despite the cold and rainy weather. The beds were super comfortable. We did not want for anything. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked, which was super helpful since we cooked all our meals at the house. Great attention to detail with the ammenities in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Even had two bald eagles hang out in the trees surrounding the deck for a bit.”

“Clean, maybe a little dated, but overall nice. Great deck overlooking the bay. Well stocked for dishes, pans, cutlery, paper products. Washer and dryer with unscented laundry soap was a nice surprise, along with an airfryer. Appreciated those! Fireplace nice for cold rainy days was nice too. 2 full bathrooms was appreciated.”

“Beach access, otters, eagles and friendly people all around. House is older but fit us well. Plenty of space to fit 6-8 people comfortably. Nice selection of towels and plenty of pillows and blankets. Bring garage bags, foil or parchment paper if you are planning on being at the house and cooking. ”

“This house is perfect for a couple or family. Two bedrooms with queen beds and the softest sheets and comforter. A full sized kitchen and family, facing the bay. A beautiful deck with bbq and comfortable seating. There’s a separate structure/studio which has a queen sized bed and heated flooring. The grounds are beautifully kept with extra sitting areas. Highly recommend, will go back again!”

“What an amazing weekend at this cozy little cabin! The cabin was so clean and well appointed with anything you might need. The bed was super comfy with the perfect bedding to make it so cozy. Loved listening to the frogs at night! The location was perfect with everything within 15 minutes away including the grocery store, restaurants, ORV park, Overlook Golf Course, Big Lake and more!!! We can’t wait to come back for another visit!”
