Solo una por una noche después de in vuelo muy largo, llegué 11 pm y en la recepción fueron muy amables, lo terrible fue la habitación, no habia agua caliente en el cuarto, la puerta no cerraba bien y entraba luz por ella, la cortina de noche no bajaba, el aire acondicionado cada vez que accionaba me despertaba con un ruido horrible y para terminar a las 6 de la mañana comenzaron a trabajar se escuchaba el martillo y la sierra. En la noche llamé a recepción por el agua y enviaron a alguien pero no solucionó, le pedí otra habitación aunque fuera de un nivel inferior y me dijeron que estaban llenos que no podían darme otra, cuando ya no aguante el ruido a las 6 de la mañana llame a recepción y muy amablemente me dijeron que me asignarían una habitación que solo me sirvió para bañarme porque twnia que salir 10 am para un vuelo trasatlántico. Ofrecieron el reembolso total de la tarifa pero no recibo ninguna notificación al momento y como le comenté al de la recepción a veces no es la solución la devolución de la tarifa, el hecho más importante es que el huésped pueda descansar y eso no pasó

It's good that you reached out to the reception about the problems, but it's disappointing that they weren't able to offer you a satisfactory solution, such as a different room or immediate action to address the issues.While a refund is a standard response for such situations, it's true that it doesn't always address the primary concern, which is ensuring that guests can rest comfortably during their stay. It seems like what you needed most was a peaceful environment to recuperate from your journey.We hope to see you again if the future to make your next stay a pleasant one.

"Staying at the AKA hotel for my birthday was an absolute delight from start to finish. Upon arrival, the valet team greeted me with warmth, and the check-in process was seamless, with no lines and even a seat offered while I waited. Nigel, one of the staff members, went above and beyond by surprising me with two complimentary drink vouchers upon learning it was my birthday, a thoughtful touch that made me feel truly valued. The deluxe room I stayed in exceeded my expectations - it was impeccably clean, modern, and boasted a spacious, stunning balcony where I could enjoy the city views. What truly impressed me was the exceptional soundproofing - despite the central location, I enjoyed a peaceful and quiet stay, with no disturbances from neighboring guests or hallway noise. Overall, my experience at AKA hotel was nothing short of exceptional, and I can't wait to return."

It is impeccably clean and quiet with exceptional service. There are some small stores and nice coffee shops within a short walking distance. In the hotel there is a fantastic place to have a drink during happy hour, providing a relaxing atmosphere to unwind.

When I arrived I had to wait for room over 20 mins. When I checked into room all the electric shut off for hours until room was changed. Parking was horrible one of the valet guys/women stole my personal belongings out of my car while parking it. Please rethink this stay before staying here.

Staff service was excellent. The whole design concept was relaxing and spa like with clean lines and natural materials throughout the hotel. A sweet surprise was the movie theater. Overall, great stay.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed by its chic, Milan-inspired design. From the lobby to the bar, rooms, and dining areas, the attention to detail and stylish ambiance were exceptional. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. This hotel has quickly become my new favorite when going to DC. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous hotel! Cafe has delicious and reasonable food. Only 20 min walk from King St. TJ Stone’s is right around the corner and they have amazing food and drinks. Definitely coming back!

The staff was friendly. However, checking-in was about 30 mins delayed due to the room needing to be inspected. A complimentary drink would've been nice while I waited. The walls are also thin.

While the hotel itself was beautiful and in a nice location, it seems there were some amenities missing that you would have expected, such as a coffee maker, a clock, and vents in the bathroom for ventilation. This hotel is brand new and gorgeous! The staff is amazing and extremely accommodating. It’s giving NYC SOHO vibes. The bed was comfy and super soft bathrobes are provided. The food is tasty and the mixologist JJ is creative and makes a darn good cocktail! If bringing the kids, there is NO POOL. This may be the only hotel I stay at in the area going forward.

The combination of excellent staff, comfortable amenities, delicious food, and creative cocktails from mixologist JJ certainly makes for a memorable stay. It's great to hear that the hotel provides a comfortable atmosphere reminiscent of NYC SOHO vibes.However, it's important to note that there's no pool for kids, which might be a consideration for some families. Despite that, it seems like this hotel has won you over, becoming your preferred choice in the area. Enjoy your future stays!

Impressive!
Facilities and staff are first class whether it's the doorman/valet, front desk, coffee shop employees or housekeeping. Decor styling is very modern and sets itself apart from most other hotels. Everything was spotless including the suites, lobby, lounge area et al. I have stayed in several other Alexandria hotels in the past but this is my new go to hotel when visiting.

I had a amazing time at hotel AKA! Everything was in walking distance. Room was clean and nicely designed. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. There bar lounge was outstanding, staff was very friendly and they answered all the questions I had. I definitely will be returning to Hotel AKA in the summer time!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful and chic, however, AKA is slightly new and there were a few hiccups. My first room had no electricity. Completely pitch black. Once the power was turned back on, in 20 mins it went out again. The hotel was able to move me to another room, but it was smaller. I received a few minor incentives to smooth over the switch. In addition, the movie theater sound went out, there were only small plates in the lounge and it was cold and hot throughout some parts of the hotel. AKA is simply beautiful and a comfortable stay, however they just need to make the necessary adjustments to give them an almost perfect review

Beautiful and modern hotel. The property is extremely clean and well maintained. Great amenities and the hotel staff (especially in the dining area) are friendly and helpful. My only feedback would be to put coffee machines in the rooms or offer room service.
