“This is indeed a nice, quiet riverfront home. It's about 20 minutes from Cottage Grove, and the drive there is gorgeous. Great internet speed, so you shouldn't have any cellphone issues if you have wifi calling enabled on your phone. “The lodge owner JoAnne came to meet us as we pulled up in our truck. She gave a quick tour of the facility and our room. Very welcoming of our small dog, Bill. Invited us to a potluck on site that evening. There was an awesome musical trio of JoAnne’s friends. They played folk and rock tunes from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s until about 9 pm. Very cool! Room and our restroom very clean. Bed very comfy. Best of all a fresh loaf of banana bread awaited us in our room. Very cool!”

“This is a wonderful little house in picture cottage Grove. The location was very close to Main Street where there are restaurants and shops. The house was very nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable, and the house had anything you would find in your own house (maybe even more!) Everything was well labeled so it was easy to find things. Would definitely stay here again.”

“My partner had never stayed in a yurt, and was a bit aprehensive (she's fancier than me). But the yurt and surrounding property were great. We were able to book it at a reasonable rate when everything else was super expensive (Labor day weekend), the yurt was clean and comfortable, we got to go on some pretty hikes in the area, then relaxed in the sauna afterwards (which we had to ourselves). Like other reviews are saying, if you're looking for something fancier you might be disappointed. But...

“For me it, it was perfect. Everything was as expected and advertised with no unexpected surprises I like being away from the big city. The neighbors are great especially the kids. I liked the simplicity and Joe and his wife are great hosts and do everything to make your stay comfortable. I also caught a bunch of fish with him so he’s a damn good Fishing Guide as well.”

“We had a wonderful stay! The tiny house is new, clean, and more spacious than you might expect! You feel totally removed from town but in reality aren't that far to go grab some wine or groceries. Sure, there isn't a stove or microwave but you can do a lot with a toaster oven and a hot plate! Make sure to check out Lighthouse Bakery- so delicious. Our favorite part was cuddling up in the reclining couch and sipping wine and reading, listening to the wildlife. We hope to return soon!”

“Stayed here while figuring out my living situation during the sale of my place. Doug was so helpful and kind. I love the setting, watching cows graze while drinking coffee in the morning. Bed is comfortable. Very quiet. If you like a little solitude while RV'ing, you should enjoy it here.”
