"A very nice, clean, older property. Very comfortable rooms, nice amenities. Property overlooks a shopping center parking lot with a local bar blaring VERY loud music for hours before a hockey game. Not the hotels fault but was really annoying. Some shabbiness in the rooms, sheers in the bedroom were ripped, need to be replaced. Overll a decent place to stay."

"Overall the area is obviously stunning and beautiful, so that’s the main reason to stay there. It’s calm, quiet and a great place to unwind. The lodges themselves are a little rustic and basic, but they are fine. The service was super friendly and helpful. Was truly disappointed in the restaurant. The prices were expensive and for $45 I would have expected the seafood pasta to have fresh local seafood (after all…it’s located on the ocean) but the frozen seafood which barely had any meat to it...

"The property is lovely, the house top-notch with very comfy accoms for 2 couples +2 singles, and the kitchen fully stocked with all the mod cons (very picky detail: no hand mixer for making whipped cream, from a woman who travels with her own knives :P ). There are lots of activities in the near area and shops closeby. We booked for a restful christmas and were able to make a feast for 6 without issue, did some lovely (rainy and windy) walks, and enjoyed the wildlife. On the downside, we...

The hot tub was a nightly must and driving either into town or out to hiking locations was super easy. "The hotel was great, breakfast was good variety. They have a pool and actually have a hot tub that works well ...good jets. All staff were friendly and accommodating and really the only negative is that we were close to the elevator and it's sooooo dang loud. There was a wedding going on until 1 or 2 in the morning, which wasn't a problem, but lots of use of the elevators kept me awake."
