Positives: Young female receptionist had a really pleasant & helpful manner. My bed was comfortable. The room was warm enough in winter. The shower was hot. The kitchen was as clean as you might expect a backpackers to be....This is in the off-season & I only met one other person in the kitchen. Negs: Room horribly gloomy. Needs a splash of cheerful colour!

Good location
There were floorboards throughout so could here everyone walking/thumping around.

Good place to stay for a couple of nights.
The owners are very friendly and helpful, I'm a bit past dorms but slept well and the women I shared with were very considerate and friendly. It's an old property but the new owners are gradually refurbishing it. Great location walking distance to town and beach.
