Locks were busted so we had to move rooms. Found out the sink doesnt drain in the new room. Checked in around midnight and then woken up at 8 by room service trying to break down the door. The manager tried to give us free breakfast instead of getting her staff under control.

We read it was supposed to come with a nice tub and even at the desk we asked the lady and she said yes it had one( we had two rooms) neither had a tub. So we used the shower and the height adjustment was stuck and the shower head was tiny and crusted with something causing it to work very poorly. The ice machine in our area didn’t work, the coffee maker in the room was also broke. Keep in mind it was late and we didn’t want to fight it. Also no where on the site we used did it say there was a pet fee. It was $75 non refundable. They also put us in an area they were doing repairs. For the price they charge everything should work and offer a breakfast. We came down told the lady the coffee machine was broke but she acted like she wasn’t air poor cared and told us we could get coffee at the restaurant( which we had to pay for. This place was one of the worst I’ve stayed at.

Staff was absolutely lovely! Parts of the property seemed a little run down but our room had obviously been recently renovated. Unfortunately the shower floor didn’t seem to be installed properly since all the water pooled at the wrong end and would escape between the two glass panels of the door and would flood the bathroom. Mattresses are subjective, this one was a little on the hard side for me but understandable. The unforgivable part was the pillows. They were almost square and extremely flat. Three stacked together didn’t equal the same thickness as one of my pillows at home. Again at no fault of the staff everyone from front desk to the restaurant staff to the housekeeper we encountered in the hall went out of their way to say hello and were very attentive.

This was a nice property for the price. You can tell it was once something special, and it is still something nice. I will stay here again and again when I am visiting in El Paso. I felt safe and comfortable.

My room was a bit dated. It appeared other rooms on the hallway were being renovated. I didn't like it because there was no window to letting any daylight. There was no USB port to charge my phone although the staff were accommodating and finding me a good charger. The hot tub, which I had anticipated using after a long flight, was closed. The little cafe was quite good in the service was excellent.

The staff is always warm and welcoming, and willing to help. I have stayed at this hotel several times, and I was disappointed that this time the hot tub was not working. Also, for some reason, this time I got a room with a laminate floor. It feels rather like a hospital room. Other rooms I have stayed in here have been carpeted, I hope they are not going to do this to more rooms, it feels so cold. If, however, that is what you want, they have it here! Great location, not very quiet, (noise from other guests).
