The views work great for us but I am sorry that you were disappointed with them. We look forward to having you back in warmer weather. We purchased this home in April and were blessed to have a full year of bookings because the former owners were fantastic hosts. Because of this, after purchase we had to wait until this year to do any major upgrades. The house is blocked off for January and February for these updates. I promise that TV in the master bath was the first to go. We are doing a complete remodel of the pool which includes adding a large gas firepit. We are also painting the interior, remodeling some bathrooms and replacing some furniture. We agree that this gem needed some polishing and we are doing just that. Honestly had the guest reached out during their stay about this I may have purchased one for their use as it is something we have considered. Glad you enjoyed your stay Crystal. It's always disappointing to get a review less than 5 stars as we really work to keep everything in order at our 6,000 sq ft house on 1.2 acres. The lower, smaller 3rd pool was not in working order for a brief time as we had guests solid for a month and guests did not want repairmen there during their stay. As the smaller pool rarely used by guests we did not want to disturb guests to address this. The first day we had open this was addressed and I apologize that this was an issue during your stay and that it was important enough to garner a 3 star review. There is a swim up bar with 5 in pool barstools and a dry bar at the pool. The sink drain has an issue so it is not functioning and will be removed when the pool refresh happens in January and February. Thank you for taking care of our home during your stay. Perhaps we will have the chance to make this up to you in the future. Stay well.

No sir, you will not be staying at our property again. I allowed you to make a decision on bringing your dog and told you you could pay the pet fee upon arrival if you chose to bring your pet. You arrived and told my groundskeeper that you had paid for the pet fee and the use of the golf cart which were both absolutely false as we spoke in depth the day before your arrival. VRBO does not allow guests to walk the property prior to check in. This is why the previous owner and I denied you access when other guests were at the property and prior to your check in. There was a smell from a bucket that was left just outside the laundry door in the garage. It was from the prior guest cleaning shrimp and as soon as your daughter and my groundskeeper identified the problem it was resolved. I do apologize for the smell but it was not the laundry room refrigerator. There was a bar stool and a chair at the dining table that had a wobble so again, Ralph, our groundkeeper fixed the issue. The lower pool did have an issue with the pump during your stay. This is a very small pool that mostly isn't visible from the pool or the house. Guests don't generally use this pool but I do apologize for the unclean smaller pool. The pump has been fixed and it is functioning properly now. We had 1 day open in July and guests do not like repairmen at the house during their stay(which I understand). The 2 main pools were functioning properly. All of these issues were resolved during your stay with exception of the lower pool. These were items you mentioned with in the first day of your stay and we remedied every issue possible. When you mentioned the issues you also tried to get free use of the golf cart. The sauna does work but the breaker is turned off for safety reasons(it is readily accessible to all guests, including children). Had you asked requested you would have been able to use it. We do everything we can to respond to our guests issues asap and take pride in this property. I do not like leaving a response like this but wanted to address each comment from above.
