Star Gaze at this East Texas Home
I chose this property because of the great reviews. The amenities offered for my children and grandchildren were also important in my decision. Upon rental and before we arrived prompt communication with the owner was very much appreciated. Instructions for home entry, parking, etc were very clear. This house is in a beautiful, quiet community. There was plenty of room inside this large house. The outdoor amenities made it easy to sit and look at the night sky where the stars really are big and bright! Kitchen amenities were good. The coffee/tea bar was a nice touch. Coffee beans were available to grind. Other coffee “tools” such as the French press were a plus. The grandkids loved the pancake and waffle bar with owner supplied syrup and pancake mix. (thank you!) There were many activities for the grandkids such as arcade games, movies, books, and kayaks. The massage chair was a hit with the adults. The swim spa was nice and clean. There were a few minor issues that needed attention before our stay. However, in speaking with the owner after our stay he assured me that these issues were resolved. I'm rating this five stars because of the property amenities and beautiful location. This was just what I was looking for to have a great getaway enjoyed by my family.

We had 21 people, ages 1-72. Everyone had plenty of room. The kitchen is awesome. Two washers/dryers were very helpful with the little ones. It’s a beautiful setting and we enjoyed everything so much!

A great home for family gatherings
We had a multi-generational get together at this home. Kids and adults had a great time. The check in was at 4pm. We got there at 5:30 and cleaning crew was still on premises which was a bit disconcerting seeing multiple cars parked in the driveway, but they were finished and very helpful. Communication with owner was easy and responsive. We had a great stay and highly recommend this house if you want a great place to just hang out together and relax.

This home is awesome! We had 15 adult ladies staying in the home and we had everything we needed and extras. There was enough space for everyone. There were board games, arcade games and a cute scavenger hunt game waiting for us. You will not be disappointed. We would totally book this place again.

Great house for a family gathering!
There are so many things to do on the property for a family of all ages. We had our 6 grandchildren there ranging from 7 years old to infant along with the adults. They had so much fun with all the toys and books and fun playground. The adults were afforded some quiet time while the kids all watched movies in the movie room (which is a great space)! The rooms were very nice and the kids loved the bunk rooms and toddler room. It was very helpful that there were baby gates provided too. The kitchen is spacious and worked well for our family meals and the tables accommodated all of us. It was a nice get away. Communication was very quick and easy with Lisa and Jeff. If you’re headed to that area, we highly recommend staying at Jerob’s Place.

New Year's Family Reunion
You can't ask for a better family oriented property from the movie room, to the games available, to the play castle and the pool. This property has it all for all ages. But the best part is the property owners who stayed in communication with us throughout the process answering all our questions. And when an issue came up with the previous occupants that would impact our stay, Jeff immediately called us with options to manage the issue. Everything worked out fine. We highly recommend this property with it's easy access to East Texas activities , amazing hosts and fabulous family fun on property. Thanks Jeff and Lisa

We had a wonderful time on our trip. The house and outdoor area is perfectly designed for large families, especially those with young kids. The hosts were quick to respond and assist with any of our needs. We would definitely recommend and would love to return in the future.

Absolutely Fantastic!!!!!!
This house is magical! We celebrated my husband's 70th birthday by having our family of 18 spend the weekend at this house. We all wanted to stay there forever! The kids (ages 3 months-13 years) enjoyed the playground, the trampoline, the jacuzzi, all the toys in the house, all the hidden rooms, the arcade games, the treasure chest, the movie room. We were so comfortable because of all the space. It never felt crowded. We enjoyed a campfire where we made s'mores and sang camp songs--it could not have been better! And everyone took a turn in the massage chair and loved it! The hosts were so warm and welcoming, and they bent over backwards to make sure everything was perfect for us. We definitely want to come back! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this wonderful VRBO house! Worth every penny!

Amazing getaway
We had an amazing time! This property has it all. The kids had an amazing time playing in the pool and on the playground. We loved the swim spa and couldn’t get enough of the massage chair! This property is perfect for large gatherings because there is plenty of space for everyone to stretch out and relax. Hands down the best time we have ever had as a family!
Great house and wonderful memories! The kids had so much to do at this house. The kids had so much fun on the playground, discovering the hidden rooms and swimming in the pool and swim spa. The adults kept fighting over the massage chair! We had a wonderful time and it was very relaxing. We very much appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, the coffee bar and the nice touch with the waffles bar for breakfast. We had a wonderful time and plan on returning again in the future!

Family Reunion Getaway
We rented this home because of its size and amenities for our family reunion. We did arrive during a rain storm, but the home owners quickly had the pool guy out that evening cleaning the pool and had him show up each day of our stay to ensure it could be used and had proper chemicals. I've stayed in many VRBOs and beds and linens are super important to me. This home has very comfy beds and pillows in all bedrooms. Granted we didn't make it up to the hidden 8th bedroom in the attic but the other 7 were used and everyone in the family slept well! There was an abundance of luxury towels and they even provided several beach towels for use after dips in both pools, which was needed! The massage chair was a hit as well, and at the end of each day we had a line ready to use it! Lots of toys for the kids to play with and they even had baby gate for the stairs (which we had forgotten). Extra stars for a wide variety coffee bar and even providing a waffle bar with all ingredients for one of our breakfasts! Responsive owners to address any needs you may have during your stay.

Labor Day Weekend Celebration
A perfect getaway location for multigenerational groups. Our group ranged from 6 to 76. From relaxing on the porch swing, swimming in the pool ( a real pool, not a cramped slash pool), to watching college football on TV. The spacious kitchen allowed more than one cook at a time. You are in a wooded, rural location - 20 minutes to Lindale and 30 to Tyler.

Large house, easily fit our group of 18... fun pool, good size. Just switched ownership and needs some repairs and upkeep. The grounds are over grown and messy. House has broken cabinets, and furniture. The owners were great to work with though and I trust they will get things fixed for future renters.

Lacey, we are so happy you had a great stay! We were excited to accommodate a 4 hour early check-in and designated rooms for your family. We are constantly working to improve the grounds we received from previous ownership. Unfortunately a prior stay caused a few issues that we have resolved! The broken cabinet and loose chair have been repaired and we continue to make improvements for future guests!

Jerob's Place was a Dream House
The house has everything you could dream of for a family reunion AND MORE! From the beautiful pool, custom playground, theater room, trampoline, costume closet, arcade games, well stocked library, hidden rooms, and even a fun little treasure hunt upon arrival. Jeff and Lisa were exceptional to work with and made sure we had a fantastic time. We can't wait to come back again! We would DEFINITELY recommend Jerob's Place. 5 stars.

Amazing Vacay
We had a group of 5 families that consisted of 11 children. There was so much for them to do the whole time. We loved the pool and playground the most. Property was beautiful.. we had a lot of fun exploring and enjoying ourselves.. Biggest hit was the massage chair!! Few thing could use attention hot tub never got that hot and the grill is on its last leg (literally). House had everything we needed, but it does either have ghosts or some electrical issues.. lights kept flickering.. other than that everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.. would totally do it again!!

Perfect Place to Make Memories
This was a magical place to visit with our family and friends to attend, not only Polar Express in Palestine…but also spend time in Canton Christmas Shopping. The Hosts have games and crafts for all the kids, and it was wonderful… they made snowmen, and cookies, and we had scavenger hunts…and of course an Elf on the Shelf. The house is beautiful, and equipped with everything you would need… it is wonderfully furnished and the beds were a dream to sleep on. So much room, and the bathrooms were lovely. Outside there is just so much to do, and the kids loved played on the HUGe play area.. It was truly magical, and I would be crazy not to visit this place again. There were 10 of us, and we completely enjoyed our long weekend. Thank you so much for such a lovely home and sharing it with us.

Perfect place for our large family!!!
We could not have been more pleased with our stay at Jerob's Place! We have a very large family (10 adults and 14 grands ranging in ages from 1-12!) and have looked for quite a while for a place that would meet our needs. This place had it all! From the pool, to the hot tub, to the playground, to the bedrooms, kitchen facilities, movie room.....I could continue, but you can see all of that in the description. I think we took advantage of every experience this home provided. The pool was refreshingly cold, but the unusually warm October weather allowed several of us to take the plunge. The hot tub was a HUGE hit with the grands. We had a few kayak and the playground kept the kids busy throughout the day. The adults especially enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub at night. Our goal is to create lasting memories and strong relationship ties between our children and grandchildren. They all said that this will be a memory they never forget. Gigi was the most accommodating host I have ever worked with! She responds immediately, checks in to make sure all is well (via text), and even left us a gift card to take the kids for ice cream! I truly hope we can come back next year for our annual Cousins Camp!

Amazing Place
This place was perfect for our family to get together. We had a great time enjoying the jacuzzi and pool. The host were very thoughtful and generous! "Hideaway" vaca in east Texas
First, Gigi's attention to detail and level of communication was excellent. It shows that she enjoys hosting guests! We had a small (8 people) family getaway that was great. The place is peaceful, the kids couldn't get out the door in the morning fast enough to get to the playground. The media room was well used. The kids (big and small) loved all the various rooms :) Thanks for making your place available to us.

Best VRBO experience EVER
We stayed here for our wedding and there were about 10 adults and 5 kids - had more than enough room with some to spare! Gigi had flowers and the sweetest gift for me! There were mints on the pillows, water in the fridge, toys and dress up clothes for the kids, along with the house & it’s amazing amenities - she seriously thought of every small detail. Thank you Gigi for making our weekend extra special! Highly recommend staying at this amazing location with the best host around!! 💕

Best, most relaxing vacation rental you'll ever stay at!!
The owner is so nice and does extras for her guests. My children our autistic and ADHD and this house was designed for special needs children, but everyone will love it. Secret rooms, hiding spots the pool and the items there for guests usage is AMAZING. I will go back.

52nd Wedding Anniversary Family Get Away
This was an awesome weekend. The house looks like a beautiful little cottage when you drive up, but it is so big on the inside. With all the rooms we were all able to spread out. The kids had two rooms (one boys and one girls), and the adults had enough spaces to spread out. The family had a blast in the beautiful pool, and the kids enjoyed running around the property. Gigi and her family are awesome host. They set up a beautiful hunt for the kids, and we all enjoyed the prizes. lol Gigi, was also able to connect me with a wonderful photographer that came out for a family photo shoot. My family also enjoyed a delicious lemon cake that was left for my parents. I want to thank Gigi and her family for everything they did to make our stay a wonderful success. **Now , I never do reviews without adding the negative because I depend on others honesty in their reviews, when picking locations for my large family. The house has everything you will need for a great weekend. The outside could do with a little TLC, and I know that the family is working on it. The kitchen needs a little upgrade and the house a full deep clean. You can tell that you are staying in someones' home and that is not necessarily what people are expecting. This is a beautiful home that give you time and space to relax and enjoy your family. I can't wait to go back and see how much more beautiful it becomes in the future. Perfect Place for Family
We had an incredible stay at Jerob’s Place! Cant say enough great things about it. The house was amazing and clean. The kids had the best time playing in the pool, on the playground, playing hide and seek in the house and watching movies all together! amazing property
We had a wonderful weekend with friends and family for my husband's 50th birthday. The house is huge with plenty of room for at least 4 families. The kids loved the bunk rooms, movie room and play room under the stairs. There were so many toys, games, movies and activities to keep them busy. The house has everything you would need. Great Getaway
Our staff and family (16 of us between ages 9-46) had a wonderful getaway at Jerob’s Place! It was the perfect place to unwind and rest before we head into the second half of our summer camp season. Our staff enjoyed swimming, playing board games, watching movies and napping! Communication with GiGi was top notch. The extras they include are much appreciated! Our staff enjoyed the treasure hunt! We would definitely recommend a stay at Jerob’s Place.

The perfect spot!
We had a wonderful time at this property. It was a group of friends reconnecting from high school with family and kids and it suited everyone. The pool was a hit, the abundance of space was awesome and the playground for the kids hit the spot. Gigi also was great about responding quickly and checking in on us throughout the stay. Outdoors Fun
This property was very spacious holding >20+ people comfortably. Nice amenities: pool, spa, movie room, playground, trampoline, kids kid away play room, pond for canoeing and provided towels, dishes, laundry soap, bathing soap, pool towels, etc. Great communication with owner. A few suggestions for improvements: clean the playground from tree branches when little ones are part of your guest list, tried to used jets in bathroom but since it had not been used a lot of dirt came out of the jets, the outside smelled of the sewer system in the mornings.

The pictures don’t do this place justice. It was absolutely fabulous and the owner was a delight.
We had a mother/daughter trip for a group of 17. Plenty of room for everyone. The girls enjoyed all the home had to offer and the moms had all the necessary amenities. It was a perfect fit for our group. Gigi was very accommodating and an absolute dream.

Great Experience
The house was clean and well stocked with toiletries, linens and kitchen utensils/needs. We had a larger group and we never had issues with running out of hot water or anything. The pool was warm and the hot tub was wonderful!!! We all agreed we would stay here again when/if I’m the area. Property owners were easy to work with and communicate. They created a scavenger for the kids and had a prize at the end. Would recommend house to anyone looking for a unique and accommodating house!!
