Not for me
Good location but extremely hard to find. The attendant at the “reception” did not “speak my language”. The “hotel” was not really a hotel, it was more like a hostel with private rooms. Breakfast was offered but the kitchen area was so small that it made it almost impossible to get anything. Silver member reward of complimentary wine not offered. Small communal water dispenser available but not free bottled water as advertised. And no hot water for showering. Pictures look way better than the in person feel. Next time I visit Mexico City I will spend the extra money to stay anywhere else.

Hi Mary, sorry for the inconvenience we are working already on solving this issues. Just wanted to add we do have hot water and we have a water dispenser and not bottled on an effort to reduce plastic.

This isn't a hotel it's a hostel. I arrived late at night in a v. dodgy area - the taxi driver was reluctant to go there. Rooms were old and shabby and cold with a broken fridge and no filtered water and no one to call. There was no phone, TV or any other amenity. There seemed to be no management - there were two young guys sleeping in a closet under the stairs who were trying to make the best of it but there were literally no other staff there. I spent two hours on the phone with expedia until 3am trying to change hotels. As it happened I checked out after the first night as I didn't feel safe or valued. VIP access?! come on, Expedia! A week later, I have still had no resolution from expedia.

only one night table, only one plug, they do not provide soap or hand towel, we asked for shampoo for the cay and they gave us some in a plastic cup 😖😖😖, we asked for extra towels and they gave them to us in a very rude manner as well as toilet paper 🙁, after the poor breakfast the guest has to wash the dishes 😳😳😳, in conclusion it is a hostel advertised as a hotel, they do not have a front desk, they never cleaned our bathroom or the floor, unfortunately the places that regularly We booked, they were busy due to the holidays, we couldn't cancel because they didn't want to return the money due to Expedia policies, this place is not recommended at all.

We arrived by taxi and our driver said, "Are you sure this is the right place? It's not a good area to stay in at night." Around us were many homeless people, businesses barred up and an overall uneasy feeling. We were in contact with the property and the emails were kind and helpful. However, when we arrived we were met by a man who didn't speak English and showed us to our rooms. They were basic. Cheap beds that wobbled, a bathroom that was out in the open and provided zero privacy and right out in the open courtyard. After the first night, we decided to find another hotel. For the backpacker or hostel kids, this might be a great spot. It was seriously inexpensive and that in fairness should have been a warning. Another thing that was not professional was the fact that when I went to get additional pillows I only saw one guy playing video games on his phone, so I went to the "staff room" and knocked. There were three people sitting on a mattress also playing video games on their phone. I asked for an additional pillow for our four guests and was initially told no. Not the end of the world, but still the vibe was not professional. We ended up not using the other two days we booked. Advice for the hotel would be to actually have a professional staff onsite who sound and act like the person who was corresponding with us online.

Muy básico
Excelente ubicación. El edificio tiene 3 pisos, no hay elevador. Habitación con lo básico, limpia, amplia. Tiene un mini clóset perfecto para colgar 6 prendas, con 4 repisas. La mesita sirve de portaequipaje para las maletas que se abren en 2. Tiene un pequeño refrigerador. El área de la regadera es muy amplia, la regadera y WC nuevos y modernos. Ofrece desayuno como cortesía: huevos con jamón, pan, fruta, yogur, waffles, gelatina, café, té. Tiene estufa y utensilios que se pueden utilizar para calentar la comida. Sugiero a la administración del hotel que pongan otro buró pues solo tiene uno. Y poner en el baño una repisa.

The hotel is great! Clean, friendly, and well stocked with snacks! The street it is located on is quiet, near many great street food vendors, and safe. But, because it’s in the city center the area directly to the south is quite unsafe and I would not recommend for families.

Una excelente opción en el maravilloso centro de la Ciudad de México, ampliamente recomendado. El staff sumamente amable y la habitaciones son muy cómodas, además está muy cerca de las principales atracciones turísticas

NO TRIPLE OCCUPANCY
Pros - clean and adequate for short stay - decent value - good simple free breakfast - good location Cons - unprofessional staff; young couple with inappropriate behavior - FALSE advertising for sofa bed. States “ 1 large twin sofa bed” and it was anything but. A child couldn’t even sleep on it. I’m 5’ and my feet hung off the edge. Bedding was handed over in a heap and the so-called sofa bed has a wooden frame with a beam running down the middle that makes it impossible to sleep comfortably.

Nice but stay somewhere else.
Good: Good location, close to the action. Nice historical buiding Bad: Old hotel, there is not a reception. Only a guy in his room, so dont expect much atention or services. The bed was sooo small. Terrible for me and my son. Asked to change for a bigger one, declined. No black-out at the room. Early day litght. The bathroom wall is only part so dont expect much privacy to do you things you need. They give you the front door key so its up to guests lock it. breakfast is really poor and they expect you to wash the dishes. Would not return.

Es un lugar bonito y moderno con ubicación muy buena en el centro histórica. Tiene acceso a cocina y lavadora lo cual es muy bueno y no muy común. El desayuno es relativemente simple pero bueno: café, fruta, gelatina, yoghurt, huevos revueltos, waffles (no buenos)). El personal es amable y ayuda, pero no hay una recepción donde encontrar facilmente a alguien. Los cuartos no tienen televisión - pero como hay internet no es muy importante. Me quedé en un cuarto sencillo donde no me gusto mucho la cama, no parecian muy limpias las sabanas y la colcha no tenia funda. Recibi muy amablemente una botella de vino por según ser "VIP" pero hubiera preferido una barra de jabón en el baño. En el otro cuarto mas grande estaba mas bonito, limpia la cama, muy buena colcha, y si hubo jabón de mano. Es un lugar recomendable, pero se siente como un especie de cruce entre un hotel y un aribnb.

Realmente nos gusto la habitación, el colchón en buen estado nos hizo dormir bien, la atención fue buena por parte de la recepción , aunque por la noche un poco de ruido (por parte de la calle) pero comprendemos, solo una sugerencia, colocar otra frazada o cobija en esta temporada, ya que ocupamos el sofa cama (pasamos un poquito de frio en la madrugada).
