These apartments are right on Old Town Square, close to many sites and restaurants. Older building of course and no elevator. I would always trade convenience for comfort. Can be a little noisy especially on weekends. Owner is very helpful.

Fantastic location, great stay.
Great stay. Location is unbeatable. Close to attractions and transit. Only negative is, as a result, it can be loud at night. Host was great. Thoroughly explained everything to do with the apartment. Full kitchen was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is right in the heart of the old town and walking distance to restaurants and everything we did in Prague. Manager was friendly and responsive and arranged for a pickup from the airport. The apartment felt spacious, and the location is private and mostly quiet, but being near the church, you will hear the church bells. There is a piano in the courtyard for passersby to play during the daytime- we enjoyed everything from classical to the Beatles. This being a very old building, the stairs are well-worn and there is no elevator. We didn't have any issue. I only mention it because it can be a concern for some travelers.

These apartments are literally 200 steps from astronomical clock. You are where the action is. It was fantastic! Will definitely stay again.

Recommended Apartment Close to the Square
Awesome location, right next to the square and felt very secure. Some noise at night from the Irish Bar round the corner but nothing that wasn't to be expected when staying this close to the square. We were able to check in early and when we left we were able to leave our suitcases in the reception until we got our taxi back to the airport. We paid a small fee for this but it was fine and well worth it. The Manager was really friendly and spoke great English and showed us everything detail before leaving us to it. The apartment itself was nice and had everything we needed. The only part that needs work is the bathroom, it's functional and works ok but it could do with some attention. We had an issue on one day with the combo boiler losing pressure and not working but a What's App message to the Manager and it was fixed within an hour so no big issue. I would recommend this apartment if you're looking for somewhere close to the square and with easy and secure access.

Fantastic Old Town Square location & own courtyard
The location of Tynska 7 was fantastic, down a short lane off Old Town Square behind The Church of Our Lady before Tyn. Within a 15Min walking radius of all the main attractions. Standouts were the quietness & safety. You pass though several locked gates. Two big king beds in the loft bedroom were new & very comfortable. Our host was welcoming, friendly & responsive. Only downside for ‘senior’ travelers were the steep stairs to bedroom. Other than the stairs, we’re happy to recommend Apartment Tynska 7.

We just returned from our stay here. It was wonderful! The location could not have been more convenient. We were about 10 feet from the back of Tyn Church and right on the old town square. The apartment was large, spacious, and well equipped. Our family of 6 had plenty of space and each child even got their own queen bed! The check-in went smoothly and the host was helpful in giving us local tips and getting taxis for us to and from the airport. Two things I would mention: there is no air conditioning (as is the case in most old European buildings) so keeping the windows open was a must- especially at night. There was a bit of noise from late-night partiers and restaurants on the streets below which made sleeping a little difficult. Also, there is a narrow tub with a hand-held shower wand, but there is no shower curtain. If you are "large", elderly, or have trouble getting in and out of a bathtub, this might be something to consider. Neither item was a deal breaker for us, although quieter nights would have been nice. Overall it was a great apartment and a fantastic location.

Quick and detailed responses to any questions right from the start. Apartments were well maintained, really spacious and felt very secure. Beds were all large and very comfortable - maybe some additional pillow choices would have been a bonus, but overall fine. Location was fantastic - just a very short walk to the old square but didn't feel particularly noisy in the early hours. We had a particular hot spell of weather over our break (reaching 39 to 40 at times) and the build up of heat made for quite a difficulty in sleeping. If the apartment had air-con too it would be 10/10 First rate experience, would definitely return here and recommend to friends.

Manager was great! He answered all our questions, booked transportation for us, explained the area when we arrived. Apartment a little dated, but very clean. Amazing location. 3 minute walk to Old Town Square with the famous clock. Many restaurants and cafe's. Would stay there again.

Massive space in a great location
Massive three bedroom with kitchen and 1 and 1/2 baths right behind the main square. Perfect location yet still quiet. Only minor downside, for some, is that all 3 rooms are adjoining so in order to walk to the kitchen, bathroom, or front door you have to pass through the other bedrooms. Wasn't an issue for us.

Perfect location, just steps from the main square. Everything you need is on your doorstep. Great host and good communication leading up to our trip and when we were there. Airport transfer arranged for us and they were on time even when our flight was delayed on arrival. Pricing for any extras was very transparent, so no unexpected surprises. The accommodation was well equipped and included: Washing machine Bedding, towels etc One fan, which was needed in extreme heat wave Fridge, cooker, microwave and cooking utensils that may be needed Umbrellas Laptop and local mobile Access to leaflets and books about Prague so you don’t miss out on anything. Hand held shower in bathroom Shampoos, shower gel, washing powder and toilet paper Great stay and highly recommended. Stayed in other accommodation in Tyn Square previously and feel that Tynska 7 offers much better value for money.

Fantastic accommodation all around. The apartment we booked was 3 full bedrooms plus 2 living areas (6 queen/king beds total). Location was heart of old town, needed an Uber only once in 5 days (to Prague castle) for getting around with everything else in walking distance. Apartment manager very informative, with great food and sightseeing recommendations.

In the heart of old Prague
A lovely fresh apartment right on the edge of the City Square in old Prague. It overlooks a courtyard so it is quiet, yet it is with 100M of restaurants. A top floor apartment, means navigating stairs but it is well worth it. Has a washing machine and airing rack so plenty of opportunity to leave with a bag of clean fresh clothes - washing liquid provided. Manager extremely helpful in giving advice on what to see and what to avoid. The Prague Free City tours leave from the Square. It cost us just 3 Euros each to get there from airport using the 119 bus from outside the terminal, transferring to the Metro at the end of the bus route. Just a ten minutes walk from Metro station. Look for the Courtyard Entrance on Tynska with the number "5" above it. Managers office is in entrance on the right.

Great location in Old Town, near everything. A phone and computer are made available to you in the unit. Washer in the unit and even provided detergent and softener. No dryer, but excellent large drying rack. Kitchen had all the necessary amenities. Our 2 bedroom unit was large and very comfortable. We were given great tips on where to go for food and currency exchange at check-in.

Spectacular apartment in a magical location!
It was our first visit to Prague, and our stay could not have been any better. Apartment 2 is HUGE - with 4 full size beds (for 2 adults and 2 adult-sized kids), a large sectional couch, full kitchen, and a washing machine (and still lots of room to spare). But what really made this apartment special is that it is a few steps away from the Old Town Center. We walked out early one morning to an empty square and spot of our choosing to watch the Astronomical Clock. The evenings were even better - returning "home" to a lit-up Tyn Church and live Jazz music in the downstairs restaurant. We did not know this beforehand, but Old Town is noisy - lots of bachelor/-ette parties and pub crawls. It didn't matter - just having the opportunity to live there for a few days was magical. Our host, Kresimir, was also fantastic. He was very helpful via email before we arrived and scheduled a transfer from the airport. He was extremely responsive while we were there on Whatsapp and even helped troubleshoot a train ticket issue for us. If you're looking to live like a local in the heart of Prague, this is the place for you. We can't wait to go back!

Hotel management sent an advance email to welcome us and collect details. They arranged for rail station and airport transfers. The room was a full apartment with bath, kitchen, living room, and bedroom. The facility exited into the heart of the Old Town district. Kudos to our host.
