If you are single and not picky and trying to save money this is ok, but if you have family and kids this is definitely a bad choice. It's an old building, the toilet seat is like 3 inches from the wall for your legs and you have to wait 10 mins to be able to flush again, the shower head is for a 6 footer. The tv is as old as the bldng and is like 10 inches.

Great for an easy stop over
Just a one night stop over in Rome. Just what we needed, a nice clean place to rest our heads. We had an early start the nexr day & a taxi was booked and waiting for us when we left. Room was spacious & clean, bit of a retro vibe which was actually pretty endearing and ‘worked’. Would definitely stay here again.

Convenient location and affordable but had for me the atmosphere of a youth hostel more than a hotel. I shared my floor with a loud group of students who partied late into the night in the hallways and the rooms are unfortunately not soundproofed. The room was outdated but clean and comfortable. Staff was pleasant. Also IMPORTANT - room was not equipped with a hair dryer.

The pros: elevator, key access, air conditioning, very large tiled rooms, close to everything including small restaurant 50 feet away. Safe, good non-intrusive police presence. The cons: no refrigerator, no ice machines, noise from the street, mosquitoes, dirty street/trash at entrance. Watch for mold and damages before accepting the room. FYI there is a €5 per person per night stayed fee at the end!

Hotel was near Termini Train station and Trattoria Cecio. From street 10 steps up to elevator than up 1 floor to hotel lobby - Elevator was fine. Newer Air Conditioner was unplugged when we entered and 82 degrees in room but 70 degrees outside. Had air conditioner on all night and was still 78 degrees in room 12 hours later with it 60 degrees outside. Smallest shower ever - 2 ft x 3 ft with diverter sticking out 6 inches leaving only 18 inches wall to handle. Only there 1 night transferring to airport.

Hotel is convenient for the station and city but the location is quite noisy and the standard of accommodation and facilities is definitely 2 star. So it does the job but do yourself a favour and spend a little more...

Even though the room was non-smoking, everything smelled of cigarette smoke. The air-condition/fan was noisy, so I had to open the window to find cigarette smoke entered the room and the environment was noisy. The staff were kind and helpful.

Wonderful staff and easy check in. Fantastic location to Roma Termini and walking around Rome. Secure entrance to property. If you're looking for just the basics in a great location this is it. But bring ear plugs as it is super noisy and we didn't get much sleep.

Close to train station is the bonus here. We stayed for one night as we had an early morning train to airport. Otherwise, it is a no frills type hotel and it is reflected in the price. Clean but top cover on bed was super old. Shower is like some others in Italy, super small. Our family had a room on the other side of hotel and the glass bottle recycling was going on for quite a while, noisy.

Loud noises and banging in the halls from 8am onwards. Unhelpful and unfriendly staff. One single power outlet in the room. 3 nights and no room cleaning. Asked for twin beds, was given a double that I had to separate into twins with no additional sheets.

My only complaint is that there is no visible sign for hotel. Check-in is located on the 2nd floor of building (there is an elevator). Great location, staff was helpful, and trams and busses were close by. No refrigerator or safe in room, but had a/c and updated bathroom.

The room, although basically furnished, was comfortable. The bed was firm and comfortable. A coffee jug and bar fridge would have been nice to have, but since I stayed for only one night, I could live without those items. The hotel is close (5 minutes walk from Roma Termini station).

The room is very old, only 2 electrical charging points (my family had to take turn to charge our phones), we got no shampoo or body soap, the toilet cubicle is extremely small even for my Asian medium build and the door broken. Need to take 2 set of steps to reach the tiny lift. Not recommended except for simple backpackers.

A decent enough place for the price. My towel had a yellow stain on it. Shower is very small, even for Italy. Very close to the train station which is nice. Front desk staff were great, and they allow baggage storage for the day.

A number of things didn't work well or looked like they'd not been cleaned. Toilet never stopped running (noisy), and "rained" water onto bathroom floor. Shower doors were dirty. Air conditioning didn't work, and the front desk response was that we should open the window. Given the street noise and restaurant noise from below, that was not an option.

Solid room with bathroom near Roma Termini. Stated one night, easy access to everything. Service was very good. Watched our bags from early morning until checkin.

It's hard to say they're relative value because it's lower cost but definitely had problems with things not working and the bed frame fell through. No amenities, no ac.
