Best for one family groups

Overall, the property was a lot of fun. We had children under the age of 4 and they loved all the toys and the game room. It was brilliant having a high chair and pack and play available in the property, as well as children's dishes. I will say that the layout and appointments are best suited to a one-family unit with lots of kids. The master suite upstairs is very nice for Mom and Dad. Downstairs is all about bunk beds and a trundle (?) bed (the mattress to the trundle is actually leaning against a wall and not under the trundle bed upper mattress). So if couples are traveling together, there would be a bit of a have/have not situation. Significant difference in experience from the upstairs sleeping to the downstairs. So you get nice privacy for the two family units. But one gets almost a luxury experience, while the other feels like they're in a summer cabin. None of which is meant to detract from the effort the owners have invested in supplying the property and making it comfortable. Proximity to Saluda and its fine restaurants is wonderful!

Horse Show get away

We showed for the weekend at the Tryon Equestrian Center. The drive was about 20 min & very easy.The house was lovely & so serene ! All of the decor was fun and soothing!It was great for us to have a get away from the hustle bustle. We played Ping Pong & video games & just relaxed after the Show. It would be great for a group since there is plenty of room to stretch out & the huge sectional sofas allow everyone to hang out!Definitely will stay again!Cheryl

Family Reunion in the Western NC mountains.

This property is perfect for a family reunion. The owners clearly put a lot of thought into how to make these accommodations just right for all ages. Everyone loved the game room, S'mores at the fire pit and barbecuing on the grill. Plenty of room for privacy and also for group activities. We didn't need to venture out but when we did there was plenty to do despite the problems from Hurricane Helene. Ice cream in Saluda, hikes in the Dupont forest to name a couple. We would absolutely come back to this home.

BEAUTIFUL Home!!

This property is AMAZING!! Situated on a beautiful wooded lot with great views from both the front porch and the back porch. Great location to Hendersonville and Saluda. The home is spotless and very well maintained, well stocked and organized. Kathryn, the home owner is THE BEST to work with. Great communication and easy check in and check out. Most definitely looking forward to staying here again!!

Great House

Great house, had everything we needed. Weather wasn’t great but we enjoyed family time. Saluda was mostly closed during our visit and we missed the railroad museum. Took the grandkids snow tubing and it was great fun. We would stay in the house again.

Quick family trip

We had a wonderful time. Saulda NC is an AMAZING little town. The house is beautiful on a beautiful piece of property just a couple of miles from downtown Saulda. Everything about our stay was wonderful. We grilled out and enjoyed the fire pit. The communication was good between owner/agent at all times. The only thing i would say is if you want a true Waterfront this might not be your place. There is a small pond visible from the porch but not truly “water front” this was not an issue for us. It is a beautiful place.

Great House!

We had a wonderful time in this well equipped home and great location! The downstairs game room was a huge hit! The upstairs kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans, utensils, etc. Everyone slept comfortably and ate very well. The nearby barbecue place was wonderful. We would love to return.

Mountain Getaway

A lovely new home just outside Saluda, NC with all the comforts of home. Of importance to us were comfortable beds and lots of porch chairs to enjoy the wonderful views. Easy access to Saluda, Hendersonville, Ashville, Tyron and the surrounding area. In a quiet, well maintained neighborhood. Excellent communication with the owner and the property manager.

Can’t Say Enough Good Things!

We absolutely loved this property and our stay. The location was lovely and the interior of the home was stunning. We had everything we needed. The kids loved the game room and the adults liked the separation of the two floors but the openness of the stairs that will allowed us to hear the kids. Super close to everything. We would definitely stay again.

Great stay in Saluda

House was perfect for my family. Lots of rooms and beds, great open floor plan upstairs with plenty of room for everyone. Kids loved the game room. House is adorable and conveniently located close to the downtown area. We had a great weekend visit!

The house was big and had a great location. The host was so kind, organized and responsive. Loved being able to get to many sites easily and just hang out at the house. Great porch, fire pit, indoor activities and location. Spacious.
