Description

Relish a traditional dinner aboard a unique trajinera boat in the colorful canals of the Xoximilco theme park. Mexican culture, customs, music, food, and games await you on this joyful evening out amid the breathtaking landscape of the Mayan jungle.

The Xoximilco theme park is a tribute to the famous, UNESCO-listed canals of Xochimilco, located just outside of Mexico City. Formerly used for the transportation of flowers and other goods, the park's trajinera boats have over time become floating restaurants frequented by local families and tourists alike. You can now experience this unique tradition without even visiting the Mexican capital.

Indulge in traditional dishes as your boat cruises trough the canals, while reveling in authentic Mexican music. Mariachi, marimba, jarocho, and bolero are sure to heat up your memorable fiesta aboard this delightfully decorated boat.

Sample menu includes:

  • First course: Tortilla chips with guacamole and bean dip, ceviche, chicharrón, quesadillas, quesillo
  • Second course: Mole enchilada, garlic fish filet, grilled beef, tamarind shrimp, cochinita pibil, Mexican rice
  • Dessert: Corn flan, milk caramel, coconut candy, pine nut roll, wafers, Oaxaca milled chocolate, coffee

So much fun! Just do it because you won’t regret it. I’m a single woman who came to Mexico and this was by far the best experience I had.
