Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early so that you can get parked, use the restrooms, etc. We will board the boat five minutes before the tour departure time. Please know that refunds are NOT provided if you miss the tour. Parking instructions: When you arrive at Port of the Islands, continue straight towards the marina.. On your right is a large, FREE parking lot. Our guests are authorized to park here despite the Tow Away Zone signs. You should see the fire station and the ship store across the street. Should you wish to park a bit closer, you can park next to the marina/ship store and behind the fire station for a $10 parking fee. There are restrooms inside the Ship’s Store. Please meet your captain at the picnic tables located in the back of the Ship’s Store. Your captain has your name and will bring you the boat when it is time to board.

De qué se trata

Descubra una de las mejores áreas para observar aves en los EE. UU. en una visita guiada de 2 horas por el Parque Nacional de los Everglades. Con más de 300 especies de aves durante todo el año, es el único parque que se estableció por sus consideraciones biológicas y ecológicas más que por sus características geológicas.

La mayoría de los 1,5 millones de acres del parque están inundados y prácticamente fuera del alcance del observador de aves y fotógrafos promedio. Sin embargo, con este recorrido, podrá acceder a áreas a las que rara vez llegan otras personas. Su recorrido se realiza en una lancha motora tranquila para evitar perturbaciones en la vida silvestre.

Dependiendo de la estación, espere encontrar manatíes, delfines, tortugas marinas, águilas calvas, águilas pescadoras, garzas, garcetas, pelícanos, espátulas rosetas, así como numerosas especies de peces y aves playeras.
