"The design of the hotel is very cute, and we loved the balcony! The room was very small (which is not uncommon in New York), but arranging luggage was a trick. The staff is amazing! Truly wonderful, kind, and fun people. We had some small issues with maintenance during our stay. I did not love that the ac blows very forcefully and made the room very dry. We woke up with rough voices each day. Also there are no desks in the room and no common spaces. The two restaurants are not owned by the hotel and do not allow computers - so not ideal if you need to work. The cafe next door, Felix, may be my favorite in Manhattan. The location next to this cafe made it a 10/10 stay for me as I loved the ambiance, quality of baristas, and personalities of the staff and clientele. Each morning was a treat. Overall, I would give it a 6/10 and would be torn about coming back in the future, mostly because of the a/c and lack of common area."
