“Although we did spend a bit more on a room in the castle it was worth every penny The room was large and spotless and all of the service we received was excellent from every member of the staff nothing was ever to much trouble and they were always on hand to help The food was excellent quality and well cooked It’s set in beautiful grounds and I would not hesitate to book again If you feel like treating yourself book a few days at this hotel you won’t be disappointed ”

“Slottet är fantastiskt fint, den vackraste byggnad jag någonsin sett faktiskt. Otroligt fint inuti också. Vi bodde i grindstugan, då det endast var där man fick ha med sig hund. Lite enklare rum, men välstädat och nyrenoverat. Tyvärr ingen slottskänsla i grindstugan, men sängarna var väldigt sköna. Vi blev störda av ventilationssystemet pga mycket blåst utomhus. När vi klagade på detta blev vi extremt generöst kompenserade. Väldigt tacksam och nöjd med det! Att bli bemött med professionalitet...

“Everything great, except that when we booked we informed you that my wife had a breathing problem and used oxygen, and also asked whether you had a lift, to which the answer was yes. On arrival we were given a room on the side without a lift, so my wife was obliged to struggle up and down the stairs. On the side where there was a lift, the sitting room and restaurants required no use of stairs. Obviously you decided to ignore our problem for some other convenience of the hotel management. ”
