“I was utterly charmed by the decor, both the photos online and at the B&B when I arrived, but my stay was a huge disappointment. Granted, it was the off season, but there was none of the affability and personality that I tend to associate with B&Bs. The owners were MIA, so only the caretaker and her family were onsite. Breakfast consisted of store-bought, calorie-heavy muffins; the water in the dining room pitcher and electric kettle sat out unchanged; a film of dust covered the downstairs...

“Much of the typical Lake George activities were closed since we visited during April, but we were very happy to stay here and will definitely return! It was the perfect space for us two (with extra to fit an additional friend or 2). Owner provided towels, pans, grill, coffee, etc for the stay which is greatly appreciated. It was close distance to anywhere we needed to go for groceries, activities, stores! Sad to go but I look forward to future travels here :)”

“This is a nice, lakefront property, exactly as described in the profile. It does require climbing a number of stairs to get both to the main property and then down to the lake. But there’s plenty of space on the main floor, and three comfortable bedrooms on the lower floor.”
