“The family is so friendly! They greeted us upon our arrival even though it was raining really hard. The cabin we stayed in was perfect. It had everything you need and it was super private. The view from the bed was a $1M view. You could actually see the ocean from the top of the mountain. And you have to do the tour of the farm. It was absolutely worth it. What an amazing family and such rich heritage. I highly recommend. And super close to a cool town.”

“We were the only ones there (it's a small place with only 3 cabanas), and it was absolutely perfect. We found it on a whim after bailing on our other accommodations, as the town where we were was unbearably hot. When we drove up into the hills using the excellent directions they sent, we arrived to a cool breeze, a pool all to ourselves, very friendly service, and a spectacular view. Our only regret is that we didn't stay there in the first place! It's truly a hidden gem!”

The farm tour included a visit with all of the animals and their unique, charming personalities, including Frijoles the pig and Confite the dog. “Hidden down a dirt road awaits a rural escape. This was a great place to stay, comfortable, private and surrounded by nature. The location is only a 15 minute drive to La Fortuna and a 5 minute walk to the grocery store. Our Host responses were prompt and we highly recommend.”

“We had a great few days at Finga Manclar. The staff looked after us very well. We went full board and we had excellent local food. We also did most of the trips with Luis which were great fun - tubing, fishing, mangrove tour, waterfall, horse riding. Rooms don't have A/C but the fans were good.
