“Despite the rain we had a fantastic time in this excellent property. Well equipped and maintained professionally. My wife has limited mobility and was able to move around the property using sticks and a walker with no issues. The large bathroom has a walk-in shower which she could easily use with a shower seat as she was able to walk right up with the walker. “What a beautiful location for a lodge! The lodge itself was well presented and clean with everything you would need, but by far the best things are the views and the peace. You are only 15mins away from Keswick. We will definitely be back.”

“The location was amazing for anyone going to visit Goodison Park. It is literal steps away from the back of the Bullens stand. The unit was nice, though it could have been cleaned a bit better. There were no instructions that came with the unit so we couldn't figure out how to run the central heat and had to rely on the space heaters. We also couldn't figure out how to lock the doors (lift up on the handle while turning the key!) and had trouble finding the wifi code. A simple instruction sheet...

“This property is a small one bedroom house. It had everything that I could have needed for my stay. There was a living room, kitchen with dining table and chairs. Upstairs was a bathroom with electric shower and a bedroom with two single beds pushed together to make a large double. Outside was a small slabbed area leading to the parking at the rear. “Easy check-in. Excellent communication from hosts. House was a good size which catered for the five of us. Our only complaint was that there weren't enough cups for all of us to have our morning tea and coffee at the same time. Two bathroom features was a Godsend.”

“Really good cottage only about 2 mins walk from centre of Ambleside. Had everything you need for a nice simple stay in the lakes. Great views from the front room over the hills. They’ve just had a car parking space put in which is very handy. Great communication with owner throughout. Would definitely come back.”

“Unfortunately this property was not as advertised with its gleaming photos - house was not as clean as it should have been with dust and dirt present, along with a lot of hair (that did not belong to us) on bedding and carpet. The bedroom with the two beds did not have a working radiator which left the room freezing cold and unusable for both nights for the two adults staying with me. Responses were untimely from the host and there was dog poo to greet us as we opened the gate to the front door....
