“We loved the house and all of its charm. The view was amazing. Loved watching the freighters on their way to/from the Locks. We were there during both hot days (85) & cold (40). The ceiling fans kept the place very comfortable during the heat & the furnace kept us cozy when the weather turned. Great location with an amazing view! Convenient to gas, places to eat, groceries, and more. Host was responsive & helpful. We would love to return again!”

“I was impressed with our accommodations. We had a long trip and there is nothing better than a clean and comfortable home to greet us. In between our exploration of the area, we found respite from a passing storm and some family fun as well. Modern conviences with a little old charm mixed in made our trip memorable. “Overall this place was a great location and the decor was so cute. The quality of books and records were great, if I didn't have young kids this would have been such a fun place to read and zen out. I do however wish it was a bit more family friendly for younger kids. The stairs were ultra steep and not really safe for little ones (we had to buy a couple of baby gates and door latches). “The cabin was very confortable and had everything a guest could possibly need. Erica was great to work with and very attentive to any question we had. The cabin was in a perfect location to serve as a base for us to make day trips in both directions along the UP. We highly recommend the cabin and would love to stay there again some time!”

Full of amenities that we look for when stay somewhere. Clean and comfortable, the kitchen has everything we needed to cook our meals. “Super warm and cozy! Very accurate listing, bathroom was very clean, loved the coffee bar and that you provide jams and other items we didn’t want to bring up with us. Neighborhood is quite and felt safe even though it’s older. House is close to the porcupine mountains park and lots of deer everywhere! Will stay here again in the summer! “We enjoyed our stay at this property. Parking could be a bit challenging. We preferred this accommodation for privacy and the ability to relax and make coffee and eat breakfast in the cabin. The only misunderstanding was the cleaning fee having to be handled over the phone because there is NO OFFICE at the location and the phone number was with a person at another hotel, who was managing the fee. ”

“The cabin was very charming, nicely decorated and very clean. The neighboring cabins were kind of close and a few cabins down, they ran chain saws all day. I enjoyed watching the loons, eagles and a baby otter on the lake. Hope the little guy survives the eagles. All is all, a very nice week.”
