“When I arrived at night I was told that my payment had been rejected (even though I hadn't received any notice of this) and that if I wanted a room I would have to pay $353 (the room rate quoted was 126€) in cash or with another card.
Since I didn't want to be extorted I left and had to find another hotel in rural PA to spend the night. As a woman travelling alone this was not a pleasant experience and I believe hotels.com should remove this property from their listings for this unethical...
