“As a hostel experience, not much more you can ask for. Comfortable, beds are very private(I stayed in a shared room and it was still very private), inexpensive, really good restaurant, and plenty to do nearby. ”

“This hotel is on a small lane way only a short walk into the Themel area of Kathmandu. The staff were friendly and made us welcome after a particularly long day of travel. Our room was of a good size and condition and the small balcony afforded a view of the local area. The room was very spacious, with lots of windows and a high ceiling, and included a small private balcony which made for a great quiet reading spot. “I thought the staff was great, but this area and location is a bit rough, so you may face some cold nights and lack some creature comforts. I stayed 4 nights, which may have been two too many as there really wasn’t a whole lot to do at night. Still the day hiking was nice and the hotel restaurant was nice. ”
