breathtaking view
Beautiful view from living room ,bedroom and especially from the bathtub. Only the wifi is soooooo poor which can not be used at all.

Hi Qi, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. we are happy that you enjoyed our wonderful location and views in Apollo Bay. I am sorry that the WiFi was not working properly during your stay. Limited by the physical location of Chocolate Gannets, we have tried all types of internet connection and have chosen the fastest option available which is based on using Telstra’s 4GX network with a high capacity modem. This system works well most of the time, except when the 4GX tower is overloaded due to increased demand in town. Over summer the population increases ten fold in town, and so the mobile network tower is overloaded. Out of peak season we can easily get download speeds of up to 250mbps, but during summer it can drop off below 5mbps. I understand it can be frustrating, our apologies. We even contacted NBN suppliers to get a quote on an extension from the closest node but it was in the hundreds of thousands - economically prohibitive unfortunately. We are always on the lookout for a better option to improve the service for our guests. Thanks again and we look forward to welcoming you back at Chocolate Gannets. Kind regards Liliana Owner

First it was a little hot when I got there and turn on the air with the fan on high. In one hour it did not change the temp at all. I checked the vent and a little cool air was coming out with it on high. Bugs every where!!! Even woke up in the morning with a very big spider. There are ways to stop the bugs. I was ex sighted about the tub hmm but there was a black hair in there and a worm. I cleaned it out and 1/3 of the jets did not work and the ones that did had no power at all. I tried to open the door where the tub was but it was dragging on the bottom and would not open. I needed a very good cleaning. I went into the bathroom and there was water outside the shower like someone just was taking a shower. The only thing was good was the lady I called was very lovely.

Yes it is one of the best accommodation on the great ocean road with superb views of the ocean.

Our stay was just fine . I have a query why is the check-in time is at 3pm and checkout at 11am, it's not even 24hrs and in the complementary things list you kept in the villa mentioned chocolate and it's was not there Either you don't mention it or you give it. All-in-all it was an unpleasant experience and over price place to be at.

Hi Abu The reason for the late check in is simply because the villas are not of standard apartment size, we need that time between 11am and 3pm to clean the villas for the next guest, i am sorry you didn't get any chocolate, we had them on order but did not get there in time, but we do supply you with a bottle of wine, cereal, bread ,eggs, milk, fruit, and fruit juices, and coffees and teas. i promise you will have two boxes of chocolates if you stay with us again. 这次出行住得最棒的地方，厨房，房间，浴室设施极佳。晚上观星极佳，还看到了流星。房主还给我们准备了充足的早餐，鸡蛋，牛奶，麦片，面包，果酱，还有迎宾白葡萄酒。我们入住稍晚还让我们可以晚点退房，各种贴心。房子周围风景很好，很多野生动物，还遇到一条虎蛇，这个有点惊悚了。女儿感动得留了感谢纸条。下次来大洋路还住这里。
